This thrilling Mainland grand period drama brings together a talented ensemble cast that includes Huang Haibo, Du Zhiguo, Tang Yuhong, He Caifei, and Ye Jing. Twenty years ago, three young men - Tang, Huang, and Hu - vowed to make it big in Shanghai together, but one explosion forever changed their fates and friendship. Twenty years later, Tang (Du Zhiguo) is now one of Shanghai's most powerful figures, having fought his way to the top of the underworld. Resolving to retire in glory, he buys a cruise ship and sets sail in style, but a series of murders strikes the ship's passengers at sea. Clues point to a mysterious man named Meng and his daughter who seem to have a tangled backstory with the Tang family. As past vendettas and present rivalries flare, war breaks out between Japan and China.
