Korea's Jisan Valley Rock Festival is a summer music festival held annually in Icheon. This Jisan Valley Rock Festival 2010 compilation features representative songs from artists who participated in this year's edition, which was held from July 30 to August 1. The lineup includes Korean bands PIA, Sugar Donut, Jang Gi Ha & Faces, Bulnabang Star Sausage Club, Apollo 18, and the legendary Boohwal, as well as foreign acts like toe from Japan and Kula Shaku from the UK.

대표 고수 밴드는 소울과 블루스를 록에 접목시킨 이승열, 인디씬의 무서운 돌풍 장기하와 얼굴들, 헤비 메탈에 기반을 둔 하드코어 밴드 피아이다.

또한 록계의 저변을 확대하고 있는 실력파 밴드들 아폴로 18, 불나방쏘세지클럽, 아일랜드시티, 로맨틱 펀치, 슈가 도넛, 아침, 네온스가 록 컴필레이션 앨범의 다양성을 살려주고 있다. 그리고 록 음악이라 규정짓긴 어려운 몽환적인 느낌의 실력파 싱어송라이터 임주연의 곡도 포함되어 있다.

이들이 보여주는 음악이 우리나라의 분위기의 록이라면, 영국의 유명 밴드 Kula Shaker와 일본의 밴드 toe는 우리나라의 록 음악과는 또 다른 브릿팝과 일본 특유의 포스트 록의 진수를 보여준다.

지산 록 페스티벌에 참여한 록 팬들 뿐만 아니라 참여하지 못한 록 팬들도 지산 록 페스티벌의 분위기를 제대로 느끼게 해주는 록 넘버 앨범이 될 것이다.
