TBS program Jonetsu Tairiku has been a fixture on Japanese televisions since April 1998. The popular program focuses on famous people from different fields, following them around closely to learn more about their job and lives. Starting in May 2007, Jonetsu Tairiku began their coverage on heartthrob Oguri Shun who has risen to A-list fame in the last three years with small and big screen works like Crows Zero, Kisaragi, Hanazakari no Kimitachi e, and Hana Yori Dango. Jonetsu Tairiku spent close to half a year's time documenting Oguri Shun's work and daily life, capturing his thoughts on love, friendship, and acting. For the first time ever in the history of the show, Jonetsu Tairiku dedicated two episodes of coverage to Oguri Shun, and this special two-parter is now available on the Jonetsu Tairiku x Shun Oguri DVD release.
