Fortunately, Ailin appears at the most crucial moment and saves her, but that's only the beginning of the horror...

Blood: The last zombie?

I purchased this knowing next to nothing about it besides it having, School girls, zombies and swords. Thinking it would be a splatter fest film. It is not...It is more like an after school horror movie for teens. This movie is like a mix of Blood: the last vampire mixed with just a pinch of Shin Megami Tensei. The acting is pretty good, the locations are good as well and use filters and lighting to create a dark creepy mood. The movie is pretty gory but not gratuitous, most gore is always partly hidden by shadows. Blood is also there but not too exaggerated. A subtle mix of CGI for some of the blood and slashing effects is used. The girls are pretty, though somewhat average (no gravure models here, just attractive actresses) The action/fighting is pretty weak, not too exciting or cool but not as bad as most fan service films. Overall the movie is pretty average, nothing to really get excited about. |
