Wow! The new w-inds. album is unbelievably good!!! After being a little disappointed with Thanks, I didnt know what to expect this time. The previews got me pretty exited, when it looked like it would be a very good one. (The 30 sec. clips played in my head so many times even unintentionally.) Finally I got it today, and Im super pleasantly surprised. Eclectic, international, fresh and modern, but yet very easy to listen to
. This creation of w-inds. and their mega talented crew is one of those multidimensional albums for which is worth having a quality sound system. Starting with Ryuichi Sakamoto/R&B inspired THIS IS OUR SHOW, it goes through classic boy-band tracks with very fresh sounding, and many a-rhythmic modern songs (in style
of the new album of Take That lets say). The heart smashing ballad Milky Way and the total super hits "Trial", "Boogiewoogie 66", and "Hanamuke", close the deal of this great work, that any w-inds. fan of just J-pop fanatic has to have! |
