For Taiwanese Blue Byou is very good!
| I am an older American fan almost old enough to be A-Mei's father. I grew up listening to Blue Byou by Roy Orbison and Linda Rondstad. Last week I heard A-Mei sing Blue Byou on Shoutcast . For a Taiwanese not living in the U.S. for a long time like David Tao, she does a good job. A-Mei has a good voice and I'm sure the other English songs are as good. As a long time fan and Mandarin speaker, I will also enjoy the Chinese CD. |

most beautiful!
| as an american that doesn't know much about chinese music, i'd have to say that a*mei is one of the best asian singers i've heard. tracks 1, 2, 3 and 10 are the best on the first disk and always invoke fond memories of summer nights in ta-an. the english disc is pretty bad, but only because i grew up with the original versions of each of the songs. she should stick with what he knows, but if you want a taste of what taiwan pop has to offer buy this CD! |

i liked it!
| the first track was really good, her voice sounds better and more clear back in 1996, not that she's not good now. it's a good cd, u should definitely buy it if ur an a-mei fan! |

Journey (A-Mei)
| As a relatively new American fan of A-Mei, I'm not familiar with her past albums but I do know her music well. And I have to say that this album is pure A-mei, and she is magnificent. Don't thing twice about buying this one. Just buy it! |
