Magic Music (Japan Version)
September 24, 2006 boom shaka lakaThis song started my KAELA OBSESSION FROM WHICH THERE IS NO WAY OUT.
"Magic Music" is wicked good, and so is the B-side. Only loony Kaela would incorporate the title of a Duran Duran song with the lyrics, "I'm so hungry."
Why hasn't God made more people like her? Get with it, God!
Anyway, people, buy this CD!

Tree Climbers (Japan Version)
September 24, 2006 this song rocks hardThis song rocks hard! And it is really fun to sing at karaoke, after drinking much Japanese liqueur.
The B-side is strange, however. But who cares, cuz it's Kaela! Kaela!!!

KAELA (Normal Edition)(Japan Version)
September 24, 2006 my future wife starts singing! She doesn't know it yet, but Kimura Kaela wants to marry me. And guess what? I would say yes...if I could understand her Japanese and if it suddenly became legal.
But while I'm waiting for my proposal, I will just keep listening to Kaela's rockin' tunes.
This CD is Kaela's musical debut, and it doesn't suck. It's not as good as "Circle," but it certainly has its moments. Plus it's my future wife and she is singing in my ear, so who really cares?
I urge everyone to check out track #6: "D.T.S." Translated by me into awesomely poetic English, this song reveals once and for all that Kaela has some secrets going on (if you know what I'm saying). I'm actually shocked that a certain portion of the Japanese female population weren't going "Oohhh" over this song. It's the most thinly-veiled REZU song I've heard in ages.
The rest of the CD is good too. "You Know You Love Me" and "Because" offer some highly-amusing Engrish for me to both laugh and "aww" over.
After you buy "Circle," buy "Kaela." But hands off! Cuz she's mine.

Circle (Normal Edition)(Japan Version)
September 24, 2006 KK is the bombKimura Kaela is so crazy awesome that I have to smile! This particular CD is killer from start to finish, and Kaela isn't afraid to change it up- from rock to ambient to Britpop. Whatever.
Another good thing Kaela has going for her is that she isn't cultivating the WESTERN HO look, unlike a certain other J-chick who shares Kaela's initials. Koda. Cough, cough. Kumi. Cough, cough. So good for Kaela! Because she looks kind of punky and she acts a little nutters, and I get the feeling that maybe she'd give us girls a chance (if you know what I'm saying).
So if you like chicks like Kaela and you also like decent tunes, buy this CD! I would consider you cool if you did.
