Kangta's Soundtrack to Loveholic
|
This was not a good job for the highly publicized k-pop star. This album lacked flair that usually kang ta gives with every album. though i do love the tracks "persona (which shows the k-popper's vocals), and Illusion". Kang ta does not deliver in this album. Sorry big guy better luck next time. Thank You |

popular Kang Ta
| OMG...... Kang Ta has become immensely popular internationally that is. of course it is first Koreans notice him. then the Chinese notice him. now i think the Japanese are noticing him i think they are because there is a Kang Ta Best and New cd that is a Japan Version. Persona is his third cd and he has yet to release another new cd for all his fans. I can see why he is very popular. He's a great singer. He's a great composer and song writer. He's a great actor. He's multi-talented all around. And he's got it all the looks and charisma and plus a gorgeous smile. Talk about a modern prince charming. |

| This cd exceeds expectations. Kang Ta really put some serious effort into this. I would recomend it to anyone who remembers him from h.o.t or to anyone who has never heard of him. My personal favorite track 5 |

| very good cd. Kang Ta sings 2 songs in mandarin and they are pretty good. i can understand nearly all the words he sings in mandarin. this shows he truly made an effort to learn to sing in mandarin. he's very talented. i think this cd is very good in terms of the music and his singing. my #1 favorite track is #6 No More Than My Dream - he sounds SO GOOD. his singing is very solid. i love the music and his voice. this song is very relaxing. i tend to put this song on 'repeat' mode. my other favorites are tracks #1, 2, 3, 8, 13, 14. i actually like the Korean versions of Persona and Illusion more than the mandarin versions, simply because i feel his singing in Korean is very soothing - another reason for me to learn more Korean. and i like the instrumental pieces, very relaxing. and the photos in the book are added bonuses. love looking at him and love listening to him. he has such a wonderful voice. |

Although I had never had one, but it's the same as the Hong Kong version I heard from my friend. OF course, I don't think this version comes with translation or else. However, I prefer to get the Hong Kong version that comes with Translation, if that's what you need. Of course, if you live in Mainland, it's better to get the other version from the local music store. Should cost around 50 some dollars in Yuan, but you have to watch out for the right copy... Anyways, I have 2versions already and I am going to get KangTa's HK version of Persona. YEs, it's so good to listen to and that's why I want to collect each different version. Korean one is the first one I collected.. |

Just always Kangta
Just always Kangta
| When I first saw the album cover I thought "Wow... he's changed." But from a musical aspect Kangta hasn't changed at all. His music is very much the same, but with a little flair in it... a little kick. He's much stronger vocally and most people don't like his new look, but I personally love it. It goes with the whole album. It is called "Persona" for a reason and I think Kangta's true persona came out in his third album. I love every track and his music still soothes my soul. |

Absolutely great and generous. Definitely a treat for you ears if you're a true music lover. Each song filled with different senses, whether is sorrowful, powerful, joyful...soothes your inner feeling for sure. Of course only if you understand Korean. And I know KangTa had the Korean Edition of (Persona) on the Oversea version. However, if you are korean..This one can suits you in any shape and form. I do have a lot of Chinese friends who bought both Korean and Chinese Edition of this ablum. First hit (Persona)-it's slow, staccato beat, very soothing and easy to rock with the music while is playing. The song is accompanied with nylon Guitar I believed(other instruments as well). If you are careful enough you'll also noticed that the audio of this recording is different from other typical CD tracks, the music is different from the left to right channel (usually this only happens in Karaoke DVD/VCD) However, that's what it is makes this song so unique. The song (Persona) is only 3:47 long, and it's addictive. It makes you want to listen to it again and again. As to all of KangTa's songs from the past, all of them are very addictive..like Pine Tree and Polaris. However, Persona is a complete different style. Through KangTa's interview, we discovered that he actually wrote the song last summer when he face a heart broken moment (true saddness), which makes this song so adorable. 2nd song also hit the road, (Illusion/song name in korean is-trash). The songs begins with harmonica, following with 2 similiar verses and into chorus. Personally think it's pretty cool. (this song may requires couple times of listening before you would think it's good. 3rd song is my favorite (Agape), like usual KangTa's style. It's more like Pine Tree and Polaris style... Very touchy and emotional. You'll never getting tire of listening to this song. Songs name derived from a cafe(or a coffee shop), which he enjoyed and got his inspiration from. Songs discribed someone who only knows about his/her lover, doesn't know love, separation, pain. (Sorry, it's hard to translate korean lyrics into English). You'll get it if you are listening to it. 4th song (Paralysis), more like(The Best). Fast flowing beats. If you enjoy (The Best), you'll love this one too. 5th song (Just one day), no doubt this is a theme song for KangTa's first drama appearance in China(The Magic of Fate). 6th(No more than my dream), easy to follow, with about 2verses, 2choruses, and 1 bridge....KangTa is singing with his joyful voice as like previous album (Flower). 7th Reminiscence#1-fast, gentle. 8th blue snow-similar like (Blue Moon) 9th song is type of Confession (music + talking) you'll enjoy KangTa's talking/speech. Wonderful.... 10th song is dedicated to Tsunami victims. KangTa wish this will help to soothe their feelings after a big chaos. Big remarks:as we all know that KangTa is not simply a singer, but a true musician. He produced about 80%of songs that presented in this Album. A true comeback album after 2 1/2 years of farewell. Can't wait for his 4th album to come out. Must Buy |

Not as good as the previous ones
|
I have been a fan of Kang Ta since H.O.T time. And I honestly love his first and second albums. They are excellent! Each song in those albums are absolutely great! However, I am very disappointed with his third album. The songs are good, of course, but not as good as the previous ones. What is more, the cover of the album does not fit with the mood of the songs. In my opinion, the cover like that is more suitable with Wheesung's or Bi's image. But not Kang Ta. His first comeback single 'Gamyon' is not that strong to compete with other singers. For me, Kang Ta's first and second album are very amazing, exceptionally good! However, his third album only reaches a 'so-so' or mediocre level, nothing spectacular. In a nutshell, this album is not as good as the previous ones. |
