May 10, 2007 Not a Sweet Impact At All Customer Review Rated Bad 1 - 1 out of 10
Another japanese release from BoA. Like seriously, she needs to come back to Korea. And also a break. She releases some music like every month or something. I didn't like this song from her mainly because it was typical. This is one of those songs you listen to a couple of times and then never really go back to it. Not to mention the song title sort of reminds me of Gwen Stefani's Sweet Escape and her MV resembles A LOT from Michael Jackson's stuff. To put it bluntly, purchasing this single is like watching your money being flushed down the toilet. Seriously.

May 10, 2007 Not So Funky Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
I personally thought this single would be better after reading a small description of it. However, after seeing the PV, it wasn't something I had in mind. It wasn't as great as "Baby Don't Cry" but it's still nice. It has good beats that one can easily dance to and it is rather addicting but not that much. The cons includes that I thought this song was "funky" enough but it is still a good single nonetheless. It wouldn't hurt to try. :)

February 11, 2007 Poor Debut Album Customer Review Rated Bad 1 - 1 out of 10
I loved her first single "ENDLESS STORY" from NANA and I expected her first album to be great as well.

However, it seems that I've been over-rating her a bit.

Sure, her English is great but since she was born in America, it comes no surprise that she excells in it. Most of her songs are ballads and some happy ones as well and some pop ones.

Her vocals are great but the songs are not. Her songs in this album are like those where you listen to it and just fast forward it in hope of finding it good but it's really not.

Her music videos aren't that great either. Her attemps to "dance" in losin' and Stuck On You wasn't appealing.

To conclude, this album of hers isn't something you should purchase. Save the money to buy something more worthwhile.

February 11, 2007 Very Surprised Indeed... Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
After their smash hit "Happiness" from their first album, I expected the same idea from this album. However, the songs weren't as good as the first album which left me a little bit disappointed. But it's still a good album, nonetheless!

My favorite song so far is called "She Cried". The girls once again did an amazing job with their singing talents and vocals. This song has a nice yet bittersweet sounding to it that you'll want to repeat it again and again!

I admit, this album wasn't as good as the first but it's still worth buying it. :)

    February 11, 2007 It's OK Customer Review Rated Bad 4 - 4 out of 10
I'm not that fond of this single but I do like it somehow. "The Club" has a nice beat that you can easily dance to but I really didn't like Bi's rapping in it. He makes it sort of bland for some reason.

"What U Want" is also a good song to dance too but it's more dancing then singing in that song because almost 50% of that song is just music without the vocals. I suppose the dancing part is suppose to fit in that area.

Nonetheless, I found this single OK. If you want something more appealing , I suggest their fans to go purchase their "My Everything" single instead of this one.

February 11, 2007 Not Original Customer Review Rated Bad 0 - 0 out of 10
After her first album, I was a complete fan of hers. Mainly because her first album was original - that is, until "Dark Angel" came along.

After I popped in the CD into my CD player, the first song "Get Ya" reminds me immensely of Britney Spears' "Do Somthin'" song. I was shocked and a bit disappointed. The beat was unmistakenly copied from Spears' single.

Hyori's remake of "Straight Up" wasn't exactly impressive either. I personally like the original English song better because Hyori's bad English kind of screw up. It sounded more like "Stand up" instead of "Straight Up".

Her "Depth" song reminds me a lot of Ciara's music as well. Especially with Hyori's repeat of the words "step to me/step to you". Not to mention her performances for this is song is "ghetto".

Overall, this is NOT original and can be basically called as a "copied" version of many western singers. I'm sorry to all of her biased fans but hey - I'm a fan too and I'm just reviewing on what I think.

January 14, 2007 An Awesome Comeback! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
It's been a little half a year since she released another single and is a great comeback for her. 'Baby Don't Cry' offers a nice soothing melody and beat. Her vocals are wonderful in this single and the chorus is done perfectly. Her small English sections were fine as well since her English is understandable. At first, I thought the song was weird but once you repeat it over and over, it gets rather addicting. The lyrics are full of positive words as well. 'Nobody' is similar to her 'White Light' single except the lyrics are different and the Christmas-y sounds are taken out. Nonetheless, I enjoyed this new single from her. If you're a Namie fan, you should definitely buy this! And if you're not, try this single out - meaning, buy it anyways. :)

    January 14, 2007 Disappointment... Customer Review Rated Bad 2 - 2 out of 10
Her new songs that are packed in this album is very disappointing. 'Gracious Days' was okay at first but gets rather boring after listening it to about three times. As for 'No More Make Me Sick', the title doesn't make sense but the beat is nice - I don't like the chorus that much though. 'Revolution Code 1986-2006' reminds me of some of the hip-hop/RnB artists such as Namie Amuro...mainly because of the beat and the sound. Her vocals are okay but in some of the songs, her voice was a bit too high-pitched for the high notes and sometimes her voice cannot reach the lower ones. She covered it well with those 'ahhhhhs' and 'yeah's and 'baby's. The only songs I really liked was 'Winter Love' and maybe 'Still'. Overall, I thought she could've done better. If you're a fan of hers or not, I suggest you to save that money to buy a better single or album from her in the future.

October 15, 2006 Not So Good. Customer Review Rated Bad 3 - 3 out of 10
Sure, this song has a nice beat and her voice is nice. I find this song 'okay' because after awhile, I got bored of it. 'KEY OF HEART' is one of those songs that after you played 3 times, you immediately switch to something else and don't really listen to this song that much ever again.

Plus, the title doesn't really makes sense either. I don't really understand why she decided on releasing an english version because I couldn't understand anything she was saying besides several words like "why", "key of heart", "smile", and "show". Sure, she's improving but only by a little bit.

Overally, this single isn't THAT great. But if you're one of those unrealistic BoA fans, then sure - waste your money on it. But if you're a realistic fan, I suggest you to save your money and purchase her future works.

  • July 8, 2006 Satisfaction Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
I admit this isn't Namie's best single but it's still worth it.

"CAN'T SLEEP, CAN'T EAT, I'M SICK" is a good song, with great beats that you feel like you would want to dance to it.

And Ningyo! I seriously love this song. Even though the melody may be soft, the lyrics are so sweet. (That is if you understand it. =D)

    At first, this single may sound weird to you but if you keep listening to it, you get addicted to it. Or that's what happened to me. ^^;;

Namie looks beautiful in both music videos. In addition, she looks gorgeous in the CD cover as well.

Like I said before, it's not one of Namie's best singles but it's worth it so give it a try.

July 8, 2006 Good, but not good enough. Customer Review Rated Bad 6 - 6 out of 10
With the help of SG WANNABE, SEEYA has been a great hit. However, some of the vocals aren't that strong.

The first track, "Scent of a Woman" is a great song indeed. But the main vocal's voice is a bit 'scratchy' when it comes to the high notes.

The rest of the album is okay. However, I only feel like "Scent of a Woman" is their only big hit. Nonetheless, it's a good album overall.

    July 8, 2006 A MUST BUY! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I fell in love with this group when I first heard their hit single "Happiness". (The music video to this song is good and sad as well!)

All three have beautiful vocals that fits perfectly well with the beat and melody of the songs. I personally think they are better than SEEYA. That's how highly I think of GAVY NJ. =D

ALL of their songs are beautiful. Most of the songs are ballads but some of them are kind of like pop. Either way, the trio did a great job singing them.

My personal favorites are: "Happiness", "그래도 살아가겟지", "하루", "Party 2 Night (Feat. Jed)", and "고백하는날". But like I said earlier, ALL of them are really good.

This a definite MUST BUY. Seriously, you won't regret. <3

March 22, 2006 Worthy of Buying Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
This tour is definately worth buying since ALL of her best songs are in here. Not only that, it's also like getting all of her best songs in a little disc for a reasonable price.

I watched this at my friend's house and it had convinced me to buy a copy of my own. Namie haven't been releasing a lot of full albums lately so this is worth buying.

I high recommend this for not only Name's fans - but for EVERYONE as well.

November 26, 2005 Gotta Have It Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
After Namie's album, Queen of HipHop, I haven't heard from her since. However, with her new single, it was worth waiting. White Light is a perfect Christmas song. Her vocals are great and you gotta love the melody of it as well. Violet Sauce has a more 'darker' side but it has a catchy, kind of up-beat melody which is always a pretty good song. I highly recommend this.
