K-pop's latest promising girl group KARA emerges on the music scene.
Dubbed the next Fin.K.L., the teenaged quartet from DSP Entertainment consists of leader Park Kyu Ri, Jung Ni Kol, Hang Sung Yoon, and Kim Sung Hee (known for the theme song of Lee Hyo Ri's latest SBS drama). Kara, which has such meanings as "sweet melody" and "happy", presents their debut album, The First Blooming. The four girls teamed up with composers like Kim Tae Hyun who earlier worked with SS501. This time's principal track is Break It, an energetic dance number with a funky touch. Also offering a mixture of hip hop, funky bass, and high vibe sounds, this 10-track album shows that KARA has both the looks and the talent.

오랜 연습기간을 가지며, 이미 SBS드라마 세잎클로버 OST 음반에 참여하여 메인 주제곡을 불러 실력을 인정받은 바 있는 김성희 양을 비롯하여, 이국적인 외모를 지닌 팀의 리더 박규리, 한없이 귀엽고 앳된 모습을 지닌 한승연, 팀내의 막내로서 분위기 메이커이자 미소가 매력적인 막내 정니콜...
17세 ~19세로 구성된 KARA는 비쥬얼적인면에서는 귀엽고, 발랄한.. 아직은 앳된 소녀들의 모습이지만, 음악과 보이스는 신인답지 않은 성숙함과 강렬함을 느낄 수 있을 것이다. 펑키,힙합등 다양한 음악들을 담은 이들의 첫 정규 앨범 [Blooming]은 음악작업을 모두 마친 후 모니터링한 결과 곡들의 완성도가 높아 녹음한 전곡을 수록하여 정규앨범으로 첫 선을 보이기로 하였다. 앨범 [Blooming]은 강한 임팩트가 돋보이는 펑키스타일의 댄스곡인 타이틀곡 [Break It]을 포함하여 8곡의 신곡과 2곡의 Instrumental, 총 10곡이 수록되어 있으며, SS501등과 함께 작업했던 김태현,한상원,방승철등 실력있는 작곡가들이 대거 참여해 앨범을 빛내주었다.

| This is the first time in a long time that I have loved ALL the songs in a cd. Good work Kara! I am now an obsessed fan! LOL The song is packed with hip hop and ballads. This album is not only for ballad lovers, but for hip hop lovers as well! All the songs are mixed with hiphop and a hint of ballad which creates a whole new master piece! I'm very proud to say that this cd is one that you will NEVER regret buying. |
