megがインディーズ時代にバーガーインレコードに残したデビュー・シングルを再発! タイトルソングの「傘としずく」は、後にワーナーミュージックから岡村靖幸のカバー「イケナイコトカイ」のカップリングとしてDJ TATSUYAのミックスが収録されていたが、そのオリジナル。まだ10代のmegの類まれなる才能、ポップセンスが光る名曲に仕上がっている。プロデューサーは浜崎あゆみなどでお馴染みのCMJK。カップリングにあ、同じ事務所に所属していたキックザカンクルーのKREVAのトラック「one for the what, two for the who」にオリジナルの詩とメロディーをのせるという、後に全盛となるヒップホップ的な手法に当時すでにトライしていた「花」と、ワナー時代のアルバム『room girl』にも収録されていた名曲「かなわないこと」のオリジナルバージョン。DVDには、「傘としずく」PVを収録。
