OK, I admit I hesitated to buy this release because I honestly didn't like "Momentum". I felt on that CD she was trying too hard to be a rock singer and her voice was trying to sing too low and too harsh. It was a bit of a mess. NOT with this release! The songs are FAR more mellow and her voice is a naturally serene soprano. This is who she truly appears to be. The songs are catchy and yet not over-done. In fact, most are acoustic in nature and very pleasant. I loved them all and each has their own charm. Since there is a HUGE value of 16 tracks on this, I will not rate or evaluate each and every one. But there are definitely some stand-out tracks on here. I highly recommend this. It's just good music. Especially if you like the sounds of American singers Jewel, Anna Nalick, Vanessa Carlton... |
