First finding fame through his participation in TV show Kamen Rider Kabuto and The Prince of Tennis musicals, Kato Kazuki made his leap into the music scene in 2006. His debut mini album, Rough Diamond, was unveiled on April 26, 2006, and the up-and-coming singer has since released two singles, Vampire/Yumehikouki and Sobanite, and his first full-length album, Face. To thank his supporters and celebrate his first anniversary in the music industry, Kato Kazuki went on a nationwide gig tour in April 2007.

This 1st Anniversary Special Live 'GIG' 2007 DVD captures Kato Kazuki's electrifying performance at Shibuya's C.C. Lemon Hall on April 26, 2007 - exactly one year after his debut. Performing many of his familiar hits, Kato Kazuki shows how far he has come as a singer.
