영혼을 울리는 목소리의 소유자 ‘KCM'이 미니 앨범 ’Alone Part.2 (From My Soul)‘을 들고 돌아온다.

OST계의 황태자답게 KCM은 지난 6월 실력파 힙합그룹 'SOULDIVE' 와 국민 드라마인 ‘제빵왕 김탁구’의 OST에서 주인공 윤시윤의 메인 테마곡인 '죽도록 사랑해‘를 불러 각종 음원 챠트를 휩쓸었다.
또한 8월 30일 발매된 싱글 앨범 ‘3년이 지났어’에서 타이틀 곡 ‘3년이 지났어’는 본인의 추억이 담긴 애절한 사랑노래로 2007년 'Mnet Music Festival'(엠넷 뮤직 페스티벌) 감독상 수상자이자 영화 '고사'로 영화계에 성공적으로 데뷔한 창 감독이 연출을 맡고 평소 두터운 친분을 자랑하던 배우 김석훈과 신지수가 ‘3년이 지났어’를 듣고 감명을 받아 KCM을 위해 직접 ‘노 개런티’를 자청하여 열연을 펼쳤다. ‘3년이 지났어’는 대중들에게 큰 호응을 얻으며 역시 각종 음원 차트를 휩쓸었고 새 앨범에 대한 기대감을 고조시켰다.
이번 새 앨범 ’Alone Part.2 (From My Soul)‘에서 KCM은 지난 앨범에서와 마찬가지로 앨범 전체를 프로듀싱하여 싱어송라이터 이상의 프로듀서로의 역량을 다시금 확인할 수 있다.

타이틀곡 ‘사랑곰’은 누구도 흉내낼 수 없는 KCM만의 애절함이 깊이 묻어나는 발라드로 뮤직비디오에 40%넘는 시청율을 기록한 드라마 수상한 삼형제에서 김이상 역으로 출연한 이준혁과 진세연, 최우석 등이 열연하였다. 특히 이준혁의 출연은 수상한 삼형제를 본 KCM이 이준혁을 직접 만나 출연을 요청하였고 평소 KCM의 음악을 즐겨듣던 이준혁이 흔퀘히 승낙하였다. 이번 앨범에는 타이틀곡 ‘사랑곰’은 곰 처럼 묵묵히 사랑하는 사람의 곁에서 행복을 찾는 다는 사랑을 노래하는 곡이며, ‘해본적있나요’는 뒤늦게 사랑임을 깨닫는 가슴아픈 경험을 노래한 사랑노래이며 이 외에도 실력파 힙합그룹 소울다이브의 랩퍼 ‘ZITO'가 참여한 ’함께해요‘와 숙희와 함께 부른 ’하루가‘의 뮤직비디오 버전도 수록되어 있다.
