KCM Vol. 4 - Kingdom

Some people just can't tolerate mediocrity and KCM is one of them. The artist fell unconscious and had to be hospitalized after three consecutive nights of non-stop production for his latest album's principle song in order to meet his self-imposed level of perfection. Now, all recharged and better than ever, the singer, who has captivated the nation since his debut, springs back to reclaim his throne with Kingdom, his latest release in two years.

Stretching beyond his usual genre, Kingdom shows off the artist's musical versatility as well as his signature mid-tempo ballads beloved by many fans. The principal track Classic (Track 1) provides a fine mesh of gentle lyrics, grand orchestral sounds, and explosive mesmerizing vocals. Kim Seung Woo and Kim So Yeon star in the song's action-packed blockbuster music video, which is already making headlines with its provocative kiss and tattoo scenes. Jo Young Soo and Ahn Young Min, the hitmakers behind Classic, repeat their magic in Haru Ilgee ("Daily Journal") (Track 2). Highlighted by acoustic arrangement, the song contains emotive melody and moving lyrics. In addition, I Am (Track 9), a mid-tempo dance number composed by KCM himself, shows all the makings of yet another hit for the star who expects only the best from himself.
