Kebee Vol. 3 - The Passage

Kebee is back with his third album, The Passage. On his latest 14-track release the talented hip-hop artist collaborates with several guest artists with roots in the Korean indie hip-hop scene including Minos, Epik High's Tablo, and Jinbo. The principal Go Space is a synthesizer electronic number produced by Loptimist featuring Soulman. Other songs featured on The Passage are the self-produced Soulport, "Camera" (Track 4), a collaboration with Lady Jane, and Still Shining for which Kebee teams up with The Quiett and D.C.

키비(Kebee) 3집 [The Passage]가 마침내 발표된다.

한국 힙합음악의 진화, 키비(Kebee)의 3번째 정규음반 [The Passage]가 5월 7일 발표된다. 자기성찰적 가사들과 소년적 정서들을 음악으로 빚어내 2000년 중반 한국 힙합에 새로운 패러다임을 제시해 온 키비. 한국에 유례없는 자생적 힙합레이블 소울컴퍼니의 대표이기도 한 키비는 설립 5년 동안 소울컴퍼니를 현 한국 힙합을 상징하는 레이블로 일구어냈으며, 이를 기반으로 자신만의 독보적인 음악 세계관을 펼쳐나가고 있다.

항로, 여행이란 의미의 음반제목 [The Passage]에서 보이듯, 심리적 방황과 갈등, 이에 대한 자기극복 과정을 음반으로 담아낸 작품이다.
키비만의 독창적이고 기발한 상상력은 더욱 정제되어 문학적 깊이를 더하였고, 여전히 짜임새 있는 플로우를 구사해내며 랩음악으로서의 완성도를 지켜나가는 동시에 샘플링 작법을 최소화하며 건반과 기타 등의 악기 중심 곡들로 프로듀싱하였다.
