August 9, 2007 Gee~=~i dun think so. gee's songs might not be good to listen which not apparently all are not.. but tt does not mean shes not a good performer. gee's voice has definitely changed since then. she has been very clever in rounding off ballet singing plus high-pitch soft melodies. one of the veterans i agree in music + movies. one of the successes in HK entertainment industry :) Did you find this review helpful? August 14, 2006 her best..all i can say is i've heard this album numerous of times and still think this is her best..
ive been her fan for five years now and has been always catching up with her latest albums/songs.. this album "Grown Up" has caught my attention and i just wanted to keep on listening to it again and again.. coz i think this album has a very comfortable and easy-to-listen aura.. makes you feel like youre in the music itself.
the music is very great, very much catchy and advanced compared to her prev works and her voice.. good one gigi.. you've shown it. i think you've 'grown' totally out of maturity in your voice to the max.. its just wonderful to hear you've made every note seem flawless now after having been hearing you for some while.. i agree. she has the best 'soft voice' in amongst the female singers in HK..
ga yau gigi.. i no doubt can predict this is your year.. keep it up.. always ur fan.. :)

July 26, 2006 heh...im the first~ hah.. gigi is the one of the most consistent singers now in hk, producing at least one album per yr. hope this album is a good one. like the newest song which is played on tv. looking forward to this album. - keith, brunei fan. August 12, 2005 BoA~kwon boa is my fav singer, kind of singer which subjects to many changes as she continues her singing career. u can see her cheerful and youthful self in shine we are & amazing kiss.. soon she develops maturity in atlantis princess & my name.. which to me 'my name' the album is one of the best; though 'best of soul' seem to have all the best tracks from her..
well if u look deeply into this, my name actually concentrates upon sentimental(my prayer, goodbye) and a different pop(my name, spark), best of soul reveals the typical personality of BoA, the image everyone likes of her, with instrumental pop(id peace b), cheerful songs(shine we are), and 'hot songs' like (double & rock with you) and what i really like is her change to jazzy music with the intro of 'do the motion' and a bit unique song 'kimino tonari de', kind of a ballet feeling..
and 'girls on top' rules typically~ hey why the fuss abt this? girls on top has a new style to it which maybe ppl still isn't used to.. a disco music which protrays her singing wild and loud and explores her voice to extreme levels.. a more mature voice.. and moto ok only and yea maybe rest of the songs are not tat good.. but garden in the air is another one jazzy music.. :)
nevertheless i think, BoA has made the right choice to change her style of music and image.. she's young and by doing this gives us the taste and feel for each style of her so this is real good experience. she has been a great entertainer bringing us all types of styles for us to experience and feedback on. i reckon everyone to appreciate what she did for this and for her future~Did you find this review helpful? March 19, 2002 About Concert Singing...
Do u think Gigi has a really nice and graceful voice when it comes to low amplitude singing? What i mean is it is very nice to listen to her singing in her song albums. This is because her soft voice is so nice to hear... But i quite agree with a recent comment that maybe she doesn't quite sing well in concert when she has to shout or something. I think she cannot shout loud and you'll realize that her songs when it comes to shouting remain in a mediun voice...(if more than that she ends up in high pitch,low voice) By the Way i'd like to express many sincere greatness that she is indeed one of the many best singers in Hongkong - not by professionalism and real fame but by effort and originality... I was really disappointed when i looked that this product is just an audio CD. It's just a live recording concert and not VCD! So plse ppl don't think it's a VCD! It's not! Well I heard the song in radio. Damn how does she have a really good voice when it comes to mandarin! But i think her cantonese album was kind of more manly and stylish voice and this is girly and cute! Well I don know wat to say. As a fan i will still suppot her. Man!
