I got intrigued by 2 things with this book:One is its title "Darling, Let's Cook Together!" The title seem to live up to the reputation of Ken Chu as AN IDOL, and a reputation of being a "ladies man" in showbusiness. Two: this is a COOKBOOK. Very unexpectedly to be written by a member of a boyband. We cant help sometimes stereotyping matinee idols from just being "prettyface", BUT... this is quite surprising & impressive! The book has a very unique concept, and you wont find yourself raising an eyebrow why this guy has written a cookbook,eventhough he isnt a chef. But the book doesnt "boast" of Ken Chu's talent in cooking or his being an idol. You'll realize a very DOWN-TO EARTH individual in this book. It tells more on how cooking and food in general affects the everyday of his life.How food/cooking bridges the gap between his family & loved ones! This is superb! VERY UNEXPECTED IN A GOOD WAY. This was written with honesty and comprehensive way. This would make readers realize, celebrities are human beings, too! They can live a much ordinary life than ours. I'm not surprise that this book was praised by critics and..by CNN'S Loraaine Hahn. I bet writing an autobiography wouldnt be hard for Ken Chu!
