Basically due to a lot of reasons, most songs are from albums since "Remember me", and it only includes one song each from "songbird" and "trip trip". From this perspective she (and her fan who only buy this album) missed a lot of best songs, but all songs in this album are awasome. This album not only included all the A-sides and those songs with promotion (aka tie-up), but also from her selection, just like "Watashi no taiyou" (M-6), "Utau hito" (M-10), "I believe ~Umi no soko kara~" (M-14). And the Eagles cover, "DESPERADO" (M-8) is a great yet rare song. Some of the songs are newly recorded to fit the atomsphere of this album, like "Yume ga chikara / Brave Warrior" (M-9), and "Arigatou ... (the pearl edition)" (M-15), which you can listen these songs from a different perspective. In general, this is an introductory album for new KOKIA fans (I think core fans will have their own selections...), and you can listen to her deeply by collecting other singles and albums. The album itself is more pop and positive due to the Olympic, which makes it as an tailor made album for summer. However, it is no better than "Remember me", whenever in length and quality of songs. "Sora ni taiyou Anata ni watashi" (M-4) and "Kirari" (M-6) is recommended, and "Utau hito" (M-9) is awesome since "Remember the kiss". Hope the next album will have better quality. February 19, 2006 I Remember..."songbird" focused on her voice while "trip trip" focused on variety of songs. KOKIA's 3rd album "Remember me" combined these two together to promote her to a new stage. Most of the songs are performed in live before actual release of this album, and as said by herself, this 73 minutes album is her best in 2003. For those who liked "songbird" maybe disappointed a little bit , but there is only one song with style alike "songbird", "sora" (M-8). However, it is a great music break as it is put in the middle of the whole album. Luckily, KOKIA's high tone is as perfect as usual, and no one can replace her at this point. I recommend "I believe ~Umi no soko kara~" (M-11), especially at the end of the song. As the core of this album, "Remember the kiss (duet"KOKIA & Piano")" (M-15) was written due to the 911 accident, and it shows - My lips is to sing for love - the intention why KOKIA want to sing. This is utterly good when the market is full of love songs. Of course, there are other songs which is excellent. After listening to this 73 minutes album, I feel I am far looking forward to her.
