March 12, 2005 A barely adequate...
... chronicle (I can't even call this a documentary) for an absolutely incredible event. A better documentary need to be made!
Further, I have two questions for the production team of this VCD: the scrolling words at the beginning said there were many cameras in action, so why did you have to loop certain footages over and over again? And, really? You could only put together a program for a little more than half an hour for this entire day/event?Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

March 12, 2005 A lot of...... great material in here but frankly, it is a not-so-successful documentary. It was poorly organized and after sitting through the two hours, I am still not sure what they are trying to do. In other words, it's an interesting ride but at the end, there is not much of a conclusion and you get no satisfaction. Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

Bruce Lee Ultimate Fully Re-Mastered DVD Collection (Limited Edition) (Hong Kong Version) DVD Region 3

If nothing else, it's good to have the original cantonese tracks.
In terms of Bruce Lee, two words: simply awesome!Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

I actually have the original HK DVD and the cover is much better than this garbage here. Now let's just see how Hollywood is going to screw their remake up... Did you find this review helpful? Best Memory Of Danny Chan 1979-1992
February 1, 2005 This is...... an absolutely wonderful collection of the past. I grew up in Hong Kong but was too young to appreciate Danny Chan's talent, the rich tone and clarity of his voice, and his remarkable diction at the time. The accompaniment in most of these songs was also put together with great care and energy. He truly was head and shoulder above some of the current pop singers of Hong Kong.
