The sounds of soul and R&B singer Khalil Fong charged up the atmosphere at Hong Kong's Arts Center Hall during his This Love Live 2007 concert in early February. Fong could be seen and heard with such illustrious guest stars as Fiona Sit, Denise Ho, Endy Chow, Andy Hui, and William So. The live recording of the concert is now available as two-disc combo, containing such highlights as Fong's cover version of Carole King's You've Got A Friend with Fiona, "Musician & Model" (CD 1 - Track 4), and "Younger Sister" (CD 1 - Track 2). The album also features covers of the classics Signed Sealed Delivered and What's Going On, originally sung by Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye. Khalil promises everybody a soulful good time with This Love Concert Live 2007.

i'm so happy i found another talented r&b singer from mainland.....just kinda sad i didn't know about him sooner i agree with the others....he does need better promotions....he needs to be known....his music deserves to be heard....especially with all the crap that's out there today his falsettos are amazing and he's sooo talented w/ instruments i guess you could compare him with leehom but i'm not going to...he's got his own style ... his own flava......haha and his personality is kinda like jay minus the ego great stuff!!.......you guys have to give him a listen!!! |

I just started listen to his music very recently, and I was hooked instantly. He is just pure talented!~ He sounds very confident and mature. This live album just shows you how good he is... with instruments, his singing style... everything~ He deserves A LOT MORE attention... (One thing about the previous comment, I don't think Jay Chou looks good at all =P And I still like him) |

A music genius like Khalil Fong should receive better treatment in terms of promotions... i mean wider & bigger A & P exposure. His performance on this CD clearly showed that Khalil is more than a singer , although he might not as good lookin as the others (Jay,Leehom) but his music equivelant as good as them. Credit also given to Khalil album's producer which is Charles Lee / Edward Chan who did a spendid job . Music fans in Asia ... pls do check out his effort.. i mean for those who are in love with R&B or soul music ..is really worth of yr money. Keep it up kHAlil ...05/10 |
