The directorial debut of renowned actor Kishitani Goro, Killer Virgin Road is an offbeat road comedy about two women who bond over an unlikely task: dumping a dead body. Popular actress Ueno Juri (Nodame Cantabile) plays the happy-go-lucky accidental killer, while Kimura Yoshino (Orochi) is the depressive suicidal accomplice. Many crazy adventures await when these two charming killers hit the road together! The film also co-stars EXILE's Maki Daisuke, Koide Keisuke (Cyborg She), Terawaki Yasufumi (Aibou), Tanaka Kei (Tajomaru), Nakao Akiyoshi (Drop), and Kitamura Kazuki (Suspect X).

On the day before her perfect wedding to her perfect boyfriend (Maki Daisuke), Hiroko (Ueno Juri) kills her landlord in a freak accident. The desperate bride-to-be stuffs his body in a suitcase, hops in her car, and heads for Mt. Fuji to dump the corpse. On the way there, she runs into Fukuko (Kimura Yoshino), who was trying to commit suicide and somehow landed on Hiroko's car. Fukuko decides to help dispose the body if Hiroko helps her commit suicide afterwards. But first they have to evade the motorcycle gang and bicycle cop who are in hot pursuit!

Pity poor Hiroko (Ueno Juri)! An orphan raised by her grandfather, she has been taunted as a loser her whole life and is disliked in her workplace. Now she finally has managed to become betrothed to a man she loves, when, on the eve of her wedding, her creepy neighbor turns up dead in her apartment, a disaster for which she blames herself. Desperate to avoid having this event darken her wedding day, she stuffs the stiff in a suitcase and seeks to stash it in an out of the way place until after she ties the knot.

Thus begins one of the wildest series of comic misadventures ever committed to celluloid. Along the way we encounter a woman (Kimura Yoshino) committed to killing herself (who can never quite do the deed), the world's most hapless motorcycle gang, a corpse in a gorilla suit, a mysterious pair of killers, and a relentlessly pursuing bicycle cop who just wants Hiroko to explain why she is fleeing. To top it off, you never know when the players may break into another loopy song-and-dance number.

"Killer Bride's Perfect Crime" (a.k.a. "Killer Virgin Road") is a macabre delight. It has been a long time since I've seen a movie that made me laugh as loud and as frequently as this gem did. Ueno Juri brings just the right note of earnest, bewildered innocence to her role, clearly drawing on what she learned from her equally quirky role in "Turtles Are Surprisingly Fast Swimmers". Kimura Yoshino brilliantly complements her as the suicide-obsessed woman who just might be learning that she has a reason to live after all. DO NOT MISS THIS ONE!!!
