The superb voice and melody

I disagree with the reviewer below. I have only heard of him from the good review in other sites. And, this is my first album from his works. And, I loved it! In fact, I have never played any other Korean Albums more often than this and the melodies are addictive. Very Original, and great arrangement, and such a innate voice that soothes your downtime. I recommend this album to anybody who want the "classics" of the Korean Ballad Genre. |

disappointed

he's deviating further and further from the jazz styles that gave him so much success. instead he's seemingly embracing his opera trained voice.. which is admirable. but the songs just don't work like they used to. and his songwriting... i think he's just running out of ideas. i mean, for the last track he just wrote a song over the background to "come what may" from moulin rouge. some other songs seem the sampled from his old songs too. |
