Dongwan surprises me Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
This review came late, but i hope it's not too late for an album worth purchasing. :)

Initially, I didn't pin much hope in Dongwan when I know he's finally releasing his first solo album. I personally think that he sounds like Hyesung - soft, sweet & sentimental.

As expected, his music genre is pretty much ballad style. However, Dongwan is a very versatile singer, which totally caught me off guard! His songs are enjoyable, and it actually makes me feel ashamed to "categorize" him in the first place before listening to his songs. I couldn't stop looping, this album is indeed amazing.

In addition, it also comes with a DW calendar diary, which is a bonus item to me. I can see that the company/DW has put great heart in repackaging the album. I am really very very very satisfied with this purchase. Worth the time waiting/listening and money spent.

Awesome! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I was initially nervous to hear that Dong Wan would be releasing a solo album, I was worried. But hearing this album made me realise I have undermined him all through. He's actually VERY good. I was surprised, honestly. I prefer his soft and sweet voice than Hye Sung's, personally. Dong Wan's songs are very enjoyable. I especially like his duet with Lyn, Mong, Eric and Andy.

I wish I was a Kim Dong Wan and Shinhwa fan ealier. I'm so amazed and satisfied with his first album. I can't believe it contains so much goodies in this package. His songs, body, and looks just melts me!!! I love all the tracks in this album. I give it a 10 thumbs UP!! Kim Dong Wan Fighting!! Shinhwa Fighting!!

VERSATILE !!! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
The reviewer is right. Kim Dong Wan is a versatile singer. You got all kind of music in his first album.

Track 2 is pop, Track 3, 4 and 7 is a good ballad, Track 5 with MC Mong is pop, Track 6 is upbeat. Track 8 is pop with Eric Moon and 9 with Andy.

For me the best is Track 10 with Hyesung and 11 (Who is the female voice?) Track 12 and 13 are good as well.

Great album!! Worth buying.

 An Album Not To Be Miss!!! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I have all along wondered why Dongwan has not release any album when the Minwoo, Hyesung & Junjin had released their own...FINALLY...having waited for years, he released his solo album. I must say I have not been disappointed...He really proved to be a skilled & versatile singer, especially with ballads. Hence, kpop lovers MUST NOT miss out on this album!!!

All I could say is that Dongwan's 1st album is by far the best CD in my k-pop collection. Although his voice is not the best, but we know that he works his way up there to show a different side of him as a solo singer as oppose to boyband member. Out of all Shinhwa members who have released new album this year, his album is the best. Kim Dongwan -- two thumbs up!

I've bought many Korean CDs this year. I can honestly say, this is one of the best. Very rarely do you come a across an album where you have a lot of good songs on one CD. Most artists have a few decent songs and a bunch of fillers which just take up space on an album. This one is actually worth buying. There are many good songs on it. The packaging is pretty cool too. Buy it!

Kim Dong Wan is a charismatic & versatile singer. In track 2, he sounds a little bit like M.C. Max' Lee Soo. But he sounds differently in his other solo Tracks 6 & 11. I think that he is an overall excellent singer, a very valuable member of any band. I like him a lot. If you want to feel happy, get this CD. My favorite Tracks are: 2, 5, 8, 9 & 11.

Dongwan's voice captivated me when he was in ShinHwa. Now his solo album proved to exceed expectations as every track is unique and memorable.

As others mentioned, he explores myraid genres, giving a fresh aftertaste.

1. Dongwan Is (Intro): Nice instrumental intro to 'prep' you...

2. It's My Mistake: Slow song with beautiful melodies

3. Handkerchief: This one grew on me, like it more and more

4. 3 Musketeers: Fun and cheery, upbeat

5. Scream: One of my faves, love esp Dongwan's performance of it.

6. Love is miserable: Love ballad... slow but it grows on you over time

7. My Love: MinWoo has fantastic song-writing skills. Heavenly when combined with Dongwan's vocals

8. I love Summer: Another fun, playful song to 'bob' to.

9. Person left behind: Wonderful dynamics frm Hye Sung and Dongwan, nice melody too

10. Unable to love a person: Not sure who the female singer is but love her voice. Both emote beautifully and their voices sound good together.

11. The Truth: A unique piece, but then again they all are :)

Overall even though i know he can sing well, this album exceeded my expectations, it being his debut solo. Congrats Dongwan!!
