Brillant!

I have received today, almost a week ahead of schedule! It is impressive to get my hands now. I do not know what I expected, but it's great. The disc comes in very good condition, perfect. If anything I expected was a record, but also comes with photos and the box is beautiful, with pictures and very original photo CD. I really do not regret anything about buying it! The songs are great. The quality shows Kim Hyun Joong in this album is incredible, each song wins me over more. Starting with the single, "Lucky Guy", a bold theme that invites fun by itself. On the other hand the songs like "Smile", "I'm Your Man" and "U" are beautiful ballads, and where it shows your vocal quality. I recommend it :) |

I pre order Kim Hyun Joong second mini album "Lucky" limited editions and I am so glad I did! I see its already sold out before the release date. I knew it would be gone before the release date and I was right lol Just like Kim Hyun Joong first album "Break Down" limited editions of 10,000 copies which luckily I got. I am looking forward to getting his limited editions "Lucky"! It's worth every penny ^_^ Kim Hyun Joong never disappoint his fans!<3 |

Colorful Catchy Tunes

In this mini-album, Kim Hyun Joong shows a different side of him, in music, vocals, and character. Compared to his first mini-album BREAK DOWN, this album is overall lighter and sweeter. All five songs offer different ambient and moods. The first two songs "Do U Like That" and "Lucky Guy" are upbeat numbers, with rich music and playful moods, these songs can easily make me move and dance around. The 3rd song "Smile" is a smooth, sweet song, in which Hyun Joong displays a different vocal with soothing timbre. The 4th song "I'm Your Man" is a very very sweet ballad, accompanied only with piano and string sections. Hyun Joong displays a strong vocal and perfect emotions that goes very beautifully with the music and the lyrics in this song. This is the kind of song that will fit perfectly for weddings or proposals. And the last song "U" is a nice and light song with beautiful lyrics. This song somehow reminds me of Bruno Mars' "The Way You Are", maybe because of the similar intro and theme. But this song will no doubt make anyone smile. Overall, I think this is a very good album. You can hear details in the songs and you will know that this album was produced seriously. One thing I can't help thinking is, the song "Kiss Kiss" in Hyun Joong's first mini-album will fit perfectly in this album. Was this planned? It's almost like Hyun Joong was giving teaser of the theme of his next project. If my thoughts are correct, then maybe we can expect more ballad from Kim Hyun Joong in the near future, because the ballad song "I'm Your Man" in this album is the one very different from the album theme. Who knows? In general, I genuinely think this is an album worth buying, not only for Kim Hyun Joong's fans, but for music fans in general who enjoys good music. This is an album that offers songs which you will easily sing along and dance along to. |

Hyun Joong has changed his style so much for this 2nd album and it suits his voice so much. The first song 'Do You Like That' has a catchy beat and heavy(ish) guitars and a lot of clapping but the vocals are strong. 'Lucky Guy' is a lead off of the first song, guitars and trumpets? and once again clapping, the song in general is very catchy and easy to sing and dance too. '웃어요 (Smile)' soft melody and soft vocals, beautiful song. '나는 네 남자야' beautiful ballad, you can't go wrong with this song just everything feels and seems right for it. 'U' is another ballad but the melody is a little bit more up beat to the others, the vocals and the instruments are just beautiful. All up the album is just amazing, it is worth buying. |
