Kim Jong Kook, who stood solid on the 2005 K-music market with his 3rd album This is Me, is back with more melodic messages in 4th Letter.
Kim has spared no efforts to take on all-new challenges to offer his fans tunes that promise to touch their hearts and souls. He has assembled such promising musicians as Ju Yung Soo, Hwang Chan Hye, Joo Yung Hoon, and Kim Sae Jin. To ensure top quality, he chose to collaborate with one of Korea's most successful producers Chui Min Hyuk, who also produced his previous album. Composer Hwang Chan Hye (who wrote "1 Person's Guy" and "Her Man" on his 2nd and 3rd albums) penned his new principal track - "Letter" (Track 4) - a romantic song about a man who cannot express his true feelings. Other highlights include Ju Yung Soo's "Inclined to Dream" (Track 14) and the dance tune "First Love" (Track 11), all of which can be found on Kim's new 14-track strong release.

방송에서 얼굴을 볼 수는 없지만 음악편지로 팬들의 마음을 잡을 만큼 그의 앨범에는 많은 노력과 사랑을 곡 마다 담고 있다.
이 앨범의 곡들은 4집 "김종국의 네 번째 편지"는 조영수, 황찬희, 주영훈, 김세진, 정진수, 안영민 등 히트 음악가들이 대거 참여하고 김종국 3집 "This is me"를 프로듀서 해 김종국을 단순에 3관왕을 만든 국내 최고 음반프로듀서 최민혁이 제작하여 앨범의 가치를 보장해 주고 있다.
특히, 2집'한 남자', 3집'그녀의 남자에게'를 작곡한 황찬희의 4집 타이틀 "편지"는 너무 사랑하지만 잘 표현 못 하는 순박한 남자. 세상 어떤 말도 그대 앞에는 부족하지만 그냥 옆에 있어주는 것만으로도 힘이 되어 주는 그녀를 생각하면 남긴 한 장의 편지.
조영수의 "꿈의 향해"는 끝까지 같이 있어주지 못한 'FC 슛돌이'에게 주는 선물이다. 같이 있을 순 없지만 항상 뒤에서 넘어지고 쓰러지지 않게 지켜보고 너희들의 감독으로 남고 싶다는 그만의 마지막 편지.
전체 14곡의 Track으로 이루어졌고 2곡의 Dance 노래 중 "첫사랑"은 String의 테마를 살려 따뜻한 사운드와 달콤한 멜로디가 조화를 이룬 곡으로, 최연소 힙합 듀오 "올블랙" featuring을 해 이 곡의 느낌을 한층 더 Upgrade 해주었다.
총 14곡이 수록된 <김종국의 네 번째 편지>의 "편지"는 조성모 'To Heaven', '아시나요', 김범수 '보고 싶다', '하루' 등 화려한 경력을 가지고 있는 김세훈 감독이 메가폰을 잡았다. 이번 뮤직비디오는 방송 활동을 하지 못하는 김종국의 모습을 담은 마지막 영상이다

Actually, i come to know about KJK on X_man. From there, i hear his song and search through the web to listen more of them. Same as some of them, i too would like to get more of his CD or song he sing alone or with TURBO. Maybe some can tell where to purchase all his previous song from his group onwards. Everyday, i spent sometime on listening to his song through internet. Hope to put his song into my MP3 which allow me to listen it wherever i go..........:-p |

LOVE KJK!
| I actually came on-line to buy Vol. 3, but based on other reviews, I bought vol. 2 and 4 since that one was out of print. I'm SO glad I did! Both CDs are simply WONDERFUL. Usually you buy a CD and maybe there's 1 or 2 songs you really like, but with KJK, I love them all. I have been listening to them every day since I received them in the mail. His songs just make my day smile!! I definitely recommend both of them!! BTW, does anyone know where I can get any of his TURBO CD? |

AWESOME!
| i bought a copy for myself the other day because i love his singing voice. its something that you dont hear everyday. he has captured my heart through his ballads and made me want to dance with his upbeat but meaningful songs. i bought the 2 albums that came before this one today. its worth every penny. |

I love track #8 the 'dong!....' background music. Track #11 & 14 are my favourite too. For some catchy tunes are track #5 & 6. I have all his CDs except Vol 1 which was already OutOfPrint. Perhaps I just have to await his 'greatest hits CD' in order to savage some of his songs from his Vol 1 album. |
