J-pop diva Koda Kumi stormed to new highs in 2006 with her album Black Cherry, which became the best-selling Japanese album of the year. She'll try to repeat the feat in 2008 with her sixth album Kingdom. This highly anticipated album comes bright and early in the year, one week after the release of her 39th single anytime. Koda Kumi's 2007 singles Last Angel feat. Dong Bang Shin Ki, Ai no Uta, BUT, Aisho, and Freaky, as well as the recent CM song Amai Wana, are all included on this 15-track release, along with nine brand new songs. The album showcases the wide range of the singer's musical talents and interests, from cheerful pop to power rock to groovin' R&B, serving up jiving new sounds to the many citizens of the Koda Kumi Kingdom.

This Limited Edition comes with a bonus track (full version of Black Cherry introduction) and two bonus DVDs. The first DVD contains the music videos for all 15 of the album's songs, plus Run For Your Life, as well as making of footage. The second DVD records 90 minutes of live footage from Koda's June 20, 2007 concert, Koda Kumi Premium Limited Live in Hall in Yokohama Arena.

THIS ALBUM IS AMAZING. At First, I thought it wasn't one of my favorites. But now every track is amazing! and there are so many music videos! & a nice live dvd. if you're a koda kumi fan. This is a must!!

My first Kumi album and i still love it!
There are many highlights in this album: BUT, Wonderland, anytime, amai wana and many others!
An amazing pv section and a fantastic concert!

a solid album again she shows her range of sound from her monster hit but, and last angel, to her soul filled ballad more you need to buy this album, and the extra dvds just make this great album even sweeter. the live dvd was really good and her live performance of but is amazing her starting scream just set the whole song up.
her vids are pretty and there is one for every song.
recomended for all those with good taste in music.

About the Yokohama live DVD Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Okay, I just have to add this, if I`d have to pick ONE live DVD with Koda then it would be this one, accompanying the fantastic Kingdom release. The Yokohama event is so stylish and pretty,with costumes and sets that are just out of this world, with a live orchestra and dancers - and Kuu at her very best, performing all her hits in a classy way with a smile for everyone - as always. You gotta see it if you haven`t already...buy buy buy!!!

I guess I have to admit I`ve never really got Koda Kumi and have been but a casual listener with a few favourite songs, but now I`ve finally got around to buy Kingdom and Black Cherry and THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING ALBUMS. I love all the extra stuff on Kingdom, too. The MVs are spectacular and the June 20 2007 concert was fantastic. Kuu`s voice expresses so much and is therefore always interesting to listen to. And her videos, I think, project strong girls and women. Not many female stars that I know of can be feminine and strong at the same time. Kuu-chan, THANK YOU!!! I`ll be first in line for whatever comes next!!!
