Join the adventures of bumbling rookie doctor Usako in the 2007 TBS medical drama Kirakira Kenshui! Konishi Manami (Orange Days, Angel's Egg) takes on her first drama leading role opposite WaT heartthrob Wentz Eiji (Rondo) who plays a male nurse. A mix of comedy, romance, and human drama, this lighthearted ten-episode series follows Konishi's character as she begins her internship as a doctor and encounters the many ups and downs of the job.

Oda Usako (Konishi Manami) just graduated from med school and is about to start her internship. On her way to work on the first day, she encounters a sick boy and brings him to the hospital where the situation is complete busy chaos. Usako tries to help but only adds to the confusion; meanwhile nurse Ken (Wentz Eiji) and pharmaceuticals rep Hidehiko (Kato Masaya) push her aside like she's not even there. Fortunately doctor Kinoshita (Ryo) sweeps in to straighten things out. By this time though, Usako is already late for work, leading to a fresh round of scolding from doctor after doctor. And that's just the first day!
