I have indeed become Dir en grey's fan. If you are wondering what to get after their Uroboros and Withering to Death albums, then this is the one if you want variations in their music. Otherwise, their Vulgar album is another good choice if you are a rock music lover. My 5 stars tracks are: -Mushi-, embryo, 24 Cylinders and God Burial, and the 4 stars tracks are: -kigan-, Jessica and Bottom of the death valley. The latest version of the track, Undecided in the Glass Skin single gets a 5 stars rating from me because of the improved music arrangement. Dir en grey's music requires more than a few listens. Their music will grow on you. And after a while, you will most likely revise your list of favorites with upgrades. My absolute favorite is -mushi- ('worm'), another fearful subject of mine, lol! It is a wonderful rock ballad by Kyo. Too bad there are no English translations in the booklet. But I would just guess it is one of those songs that Kyo questions his existence as a 'pitiful worm' or someone out of love. The last track, God Burial is amazingly simple and beautiful. It is kind of jazzy and I would have never guessed it was composed by dir en grey. The ending is very abrupt, a slight flaw. You should try this CD! I wish continuing success to Kyo and dir en grey! :) |

A classic.
Kisou will be one of the best Dir en grey albums every released. The band pull so many different emotions into one packed album. My favorite track has to be the chaotic ZOMBOID. (Mainly because I'm a very big Shinya fan.) I adore the fast-pace drumming in the song, not to mention something about Kyo's voice has me on my feet in seconds. Not going to spoil much, just encourage anyone trying to decide which album to buy, to BUY IT!

Amazing.
Kisou is hands down the best Dir en grey album. If you're a fan and you don't have this, you're doing yourself a terrible injustice. No two songs are the same. In fact, every song shows a different side of the band and a different style. There's enough on this album to keep any Dir en grey fan satisfied... it could satisfy someone who doesn't like them. It's hard to say what's the best song on the album because they're all good in their own ways, but "Mushi" is the one song that I'm really into right now. Other outstanding tracks include "Jessica", "embryo", "Undecided", and "24 Cylinders".

Masterpiece
Having listened to all of Dir en greys album and I can honestly say that Kisou is Dir en greys best album. Kisou seamlessly combines so many different styles of music into one amazing album. From the chaotic Zomboid, to the hard rocking Filth, to the beautiful acoustic guitars and raw emotion of Mushi, this album is quite simply a gem, and represents the best that the band has to offer. I dont just recommend this album to fans of Dir en grey or J-Rock. I recommend to this album to anyone who likes music. You most definitely will not be disappointed with this masterpiece.

Absolutely Amazing
Kisou has to be Dir en greys greatest CD's yet. These songs have such a different feel than you would find normal for most bands. Dir en grey may be labeled gothy or angsty, but in all reality, they hit home with ALL of their songs from Kisou. By far, the most beautiful of these songs would have to be "embryo" which is a personal favorite besides "FILTH". Kisou is deffinitely a must buy for all music lovers, not just you J-Rock fiends out there! :D

I, Being an Kyo obessed Dir en grey fan have to say that this is definantly my favorite album by them. I has all of my favorite songs on it and a different variety of sound. From the heavy-ness of Domestic Fuxxer Family to the soft-ness of Embryo. Kyo expresses himself in may ways through the songs and the others through their instruments. I definatly recommend this album to any Diru fan, if you don't have this CD, you should! You won't be disappointed! ^_^

Kisou Review
I have always been a Dir en grey fan, but I never got a chance to buy one of my own CDs. I mostly borrowed my friend's CDs. But my boyfriend ordered this for me for my birthday and I was ESCTATIC! The songs are absolutely incredible. The mixes of 'Shinsou' were all very different and were an interesting addition. It was ironic because my friend told me not to buy this CD, as most of the songs were filthy and vulgar. Well, my boyfriend ignored her, and I've been happy ever since ^_^

#1
This is the first Dir en grey CD I bought. It has hard fast tracks like ZOMBOID to the darkly elegant sound of 24ko cylinders. I DEFFINATELY recommend this to any Dir en grey fan. It has the lyrics inside & a pic of each member, as well as some neat odd pics of places/creatures, you might say... It's worth the money, trust me.
