A marriage under fire Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
"Besa Me Mucho" is set during the Asian financial turmoil of the late 1990s. Chun Kwang Ryul and Lee Mi Sook play a happily married couple with four children. Chun, a stockbroker, loses his job when he refuses to push a stock he believes will fall. His problems are compounded when a friend defaults on a huge loan that Chun had guaranteed.

Suddenly, the happy family is at risk of being thrown out of their home and losing everything. As the family's financial woes mount, tempers fray and the family appears close to falling apart. Both parents are tempted to cast aside their moral values in pursuit of quick money.

Watching these two mature adults grapple with the challenges with which they are faced is a harrowing experience. The film is honest, nonjudgmental, frank, and realistic in its approach, culminating in a believable and satisfying resolution.

Both Mr. Chun and Miss Lee give superb, heartbreaking performances. Very, very highly recommended for a mature audience.

This movie is really good. It is only when you are in trouble that you realize who your true friends are. This is a must see movie for couples.
