This album is very nice. I especially like the title song "Kite". Yanzi sings the song with great emotion that touches my heart. Overall this album is very good. Recommand tracks: 2-8 |

I enjoy more mellow recordings than bouncy dance tracks. So, I really loved this CD. In fact, she has such a lovely soprano voice I ordered 2 other CDs by her and hope she has a new one out soon in 2004 or 2005! VERY good buy. |

The best Mandarin artist since Sky Wu

Not since Shy Wu has there been a CD more satisfying. I have never heard of the singer Stef Sun (Yanzi), until Chinese New Year 2003 when my brother brought along 'Kite' & 'My Desired Happiness'. As it's is hard to find a CD that is a satisfactory product, either in English, Japanese or Mandarin, as most of the producers advertises few good tracks and flop the rest. This is not true with the album 'Kite', as all the first 8 tracks are very addititive. The music on 'Practices' (track 7) is very well organised as fast tempo songs rarely uses the piano keyboard, which makes the song unique. In fact, what I notice most about YanZi CD is the amount of piano being use, and it is one of the reason that I like about it. As one of the reviewer, Ruby Chen has mentioned that 'Don't Really Love Me' is slow and tone down the CD, I personally find YanZi voice rewarding in this track. The clarity of the words and the sharpness of the voice will make this track stick into my head. Track 9 is just another 'OKAY' track but not inpressive, and track 10 is a typical Taiwanese rock duet trash. |

Great CD

I really think this is a good cd, but I do agree that the songs are slow pace. I would still reccomend getting it, though. I really like the song Kite. |

I just got this CD. I can't stop listen to this CD!! I personally think she is the best singer today in Taiwan. She has a great vocal skill. This is a CD must buy!! |

The Hymns Of Swallow

As with Yan Zi's previous album's, fans are further more soothed with Yan Zi's lovely voice in this album. Her vocals stretch out lively in "Kite" and tone down a bit in "You Don't Really Love Me". With more awards coming the way of this petite pixie, you could bet your money on this satisfying album. |

YANZI: one of the best chinese voice !
