pleasant, not great Customer Review Rated Bad 7 - 7 out of 10
after reading the glowing reviews of this cd a couple of months ago, i had to see what all the fuss was about. one constant gripe is that the drum/drum kit is annoying through out the album. song 1: starts off nice with nice melodic guitars, then the vocals and guitar kick in. nice guitar work all through the song, with nice piano in the background. Grade: A. song 2-" deep grief": slower tempo song, with nice melody. again nice singing and nice guitar work that isn't overdone. grade: A. song 3: song itself is nice, but nothing to set it apart vocally. the guitar work saves the song. Grade:B-. song 4-" my darling": nothing spectacular, but still a pleasing song. starts off slow and picks up speed. the background "swoosh" effect is annoying. Grade C-. song 5: nice piano intro, but what seems to becoming a pattern is the sameness from song to song. Grade C-. song 6: this song is a case in point. with a little more "umpf" in her vocals, this song would have been a very good song, but as it is, it is hardly memorable. Grade C-. song 7: yes, there is a pattern here. another song that could have stood out with a bit more spark in the vocals. also, for the past few songs, the music has sounded the same. Grade C. song 8- "i just wanna hold you tight": nice piano (annoying drums at times), nice guitar behind the lyrics. guitar solo is basic. pleasing vocals that compliment the song. Grade B+. song 9: are we getting back on track with this song? neat opening guitar work, peppy vocals. looses a bit of steam in the middle, nice ending. Grade: B+. song 10: except for some nice filler music, there is nothing to grab your attention. Grade: C-. song 11: nice singing, keeps you listening. guitar solo could have a bit more treble in it. pleasant song. Grade: B. song 12: at nearly 6 minutes, this song tries, but doesn't go anywhere even miho-sans voice and the nice piano can't save it. Grade: D. everthing (vocals, guitar, and overall music) started off great at first, but soon became repetitive/same sounding. i blame this on the producer (who was the producer, again?). with half of the songs being average (and after 8 cd's) miho-san could have done better. but still, as a whole, this cd is enjoyable if not spectacular.

She makes it seem like "a piece of cake" to sing s Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
WOW. Score another huge hit for Miho Komatsu! She makes every CD better and better, and I don't know how. True talent, I suppose. I never noticed it before, so I can't comment on previous albums (although I fell in love with this singer when I first bought her 6th CD "Hanano")...but she produced THIS release on her own. Amazing. She just makes singing and creating wonderful albums seem so easy and natural. I love her song selections and her talent. A few songs with English portions have some grammar or pronounciation problems, but not horribly. And there is a great mix of different types of songs...acoustic, pop, rock, ballads, up-tempo...but all done in her trademark style. Basically, this is a stellar release that I would recommend to everyone. I like the slightly synthesized sound to her vocals for something different (although she does remind me A LOT of Sayaka...which is OK, because I love them both...). She will probably release a cheaper over-seas version...but why wait? This is too good to not own NOW!

Miho's struck gold yet again!! =) Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
This album's waay different from her previous albums. Her other songs had varying tempos...but these new tracks are ALL super slow (& have a hint of "deja vu" to them). But that's good -- it makes things more romantic, sweet, & fluffy. Like, well, a piece of cake. =)

There are 12 songs -- 5 were on CD singles (& one song was originally for Sayuri Iwata). And "as usual", you might not like every song -- at first. Some songs have strange rhythms, or sound "mediocre" with her singing ("my darling" & "Kami-sama..." come to mind). But they'll grow on you, I promise.

This album is EXCELLENT; ANYONE will enjoy it. You're bound to fall in love...heck, one song even MEANS "Fall in Love with Me." =)
