The Super Rookie is back, and this time he has a gun! Following his endearingly goofy outing in the 2005 hit comedy series Super Rookie, Eric Mun embarks on more undeserved-employment shenanigans in Super Rookie Ranger (a.k.a. Korea Secret Agency and Invincible Parachute Agent). This time luck places him in the Korea Intelligence Service, the Korean equivalent of the CIA, alongside rock-star-turned-actor Shin Sung Woo (A Funny Wild Girl) and actresses Han Ji Min (Great Expectations) and Yoon Ji Min (Monopoly). If you thought Eric was hilarious as a salaryman, just wait and see what he cooks up as a secret agent!

Unemployed 28-year-old Choi Kang (Eric Mun) has been consistently mediocre his entire life, made worse by the fact that his younger brother is a genius. Rejected from every job he applies to, Kang seems to be doomed for a life of bumbling failure - until the day he saves an old woman. His good deed amazingly leads to a meeting with the president and a job with the Korea Intelligence Service. Assigned to the same team as veteran agent Kang Eun Hyuk (Shin Sung Woo), who recently returned to active duty to hunt down his wife's killer, the comically unskilled Choi Kang slowly learns the ropes of fieldwork. His long-time girlfriend Gong Ju Yeon (Han Ji Min) joins the agency to be close to him. Choi Kang, however, unwittingly falls for international spy Alice Jean (Yoon Ji Min), the very person Eun Hyuk is looking for.

【劇情大綱】
失業一年多的崔強，努力求職一心想要成為正常公司的職員，可是最後結果都石沉大海。在那樣的漩渦中，弟弟崔善畢業後卻進入鼎鼎有名的LK集團工作，成為家中的驕傲。有一天，鬱悶的崔強在路上目睹一輛車子正要撞向一位過馬路的老奶奶，千鈞萬髮之際，他被路人強推一把，不得已之下救了差點被車撞倒的老奶奶。

而差點撞倒老奶奶的轎車不是別人，正是總統的私家車。解除車禍危機的崔強怕被揭露當時的情況而拒絕總統的表彰。而誤以為崔強是為了維護對總統形象而隱瞞自己善行的帥氣青年，總統便推薦他進入國家秘密情報局。從此，崔強的人生有了新的轉機…。

I am writing not so much about this drama (though I enjoyed it, not may favorite...just fun) but about Eric.

I am currently watching his Chilwu, The Mighty with Eric as the main star Chilwu. What a surprise! I have watched all of his previous dramas but didn't think a great deal about him.

Well, can't wait to watch the rest of Chilwu. He looks very handsome in his Hanbok costume. And...what a great acting job he is doing. Now, I will re watch this and other dramas that he has been in and enjoy them all over again.

I do like his group Shinwha which he is a rapper for the band.

Well I love Eric Mun and Shinhwa so I may be a bit biased but I reckon this is one of the best dramas I have watched so far! Eric's acting is quite good here as the role seems more comical and laid-back...very funny and hilarious drama! Must watch!

I have always liked Eric Moon. I always watch all his series. I think he acted well here although i enjoyed super rookie more. He is really one good actor and singer at the same time. Shin Sung Woo is a real hunk in this series.

The villain girl here is pretty and sexy. Hope she gets a major role next time. Worth watching.

Comedy of errors Customer Review Rated Bad 7 - 7 out of 10
I enjoyed watching this drama simply because it is comical and light-hearted. Eric Mun stars as a not so bright and not so talented young man who graduates from a third grade university. As he struggles to compete with his much more talented younger but egotistical brother, a series of events changes his life. He saves a little girl from an accident (by default) and is mistaken as a man of valour by the president. You've heard of the KGB , CIA and so forth...okay this is a story about the Korean Intelligence Department. A series of comical coincidences and misinterpretations by the Korean Secret Service sees Eric being conscripted into the top Security Agency of Korea. Then he is also mistaken as a commercial spy by a beautiful femme fatale whose real identity is a dangerous commercial spy working for apowerful organisation whose job is to jeopardise the South Korean Economy. Hilarious. Ridiculous...and good fun to watch.
