September 29, 2005 eh...Hikki is slacking. Big Time. Besides the fact that this single has only one track (at least give me a karaoke track!), her vocals are not up to her standards. While Hikki certainly does not have a spectacularly beautiful voice, nor is it the best in the industry, she has proved to us that she can "sing it" with pure emotion to the best of her abilities. This is not one of those times. Her singing of the lines "Be My Last" and "with My Hands" sound strained to say the least. Although she could barely hit the notes in "dareka no negai ga kanau koro" (she has the tendency to overestimate her voice A LOT) it is still so much better than this latest song. To be honest, I'm not sure if I want to follow her career anymore. It seems that she thinks that she can release anything of any quality because she knows it'll go to #1. Wake up Hikki, you're not the best. I honestly expected more after "DEEP RIVER" which was a classic album in itself. I'm utterly disappointed in her direction.

(6)Our Price: US$25.75Usually ships within 7 daysSeptember 17, 2005 Excellent.Anyone who has heard this song would know that Ai is in her normal range: not high pitched at all. Also, anyone who follows the Japanese charts would realize the Japanese like her upbeat songs better rather than her ballads, so it was no surprise this single didn't reach #1. #3 is an excellent position, anyway. This song is marvelous, simply sung with complex lyrics. I was impressed with the depth of her lyrics in this song, since Ai excells more as a composer rather than a lyricist. It sounds very different from her other songs: the instrument that stands out the most is the acoustic guitar. Any fan of Ai, new or old, should definately check out this single. People like Ai because of her talents and because she is fun. She also has plenty of beautiful ballads such as this one. She composes, writes, produces, and plays piano for her songs, and is definitely an artist anyone should check out. While, it's okay not to like her high-pitched voice in songs such as "SMILY" and "Happy Days", there's no need to be immature and start bashing her for it. She is an excellent artist with many excellent songs, and NEKO ni fuusen is one of them.

January 18, 2004 Good job
This album was extremely good, but too be honest, I had expected it to be slightly better. But other than that, it was awesome. When i heard that the first song "Dybbuk" had some rappings, I laughed to myself. Gackt and rap. They don't mix. However, to my surprise I found myself liking it. It's like rap with a rock sound it and it fits well into this album. Some of the best songs are mind forest, Lust for blood, Last Song. And let's not forget the duet with HYDE, "orenji no taiyo", while long, is simple wonderful. Do not miss if a fan of Gackt. It is highly recommended album.

January 18, 2004 Absolutely Amazing
L'Arc~en~Ciel is my favorite band ever. One reason is because of the power and beauty of the lead singers voice. When HYDE came out with a solo career, I was very excited and surprised. His roentgen album was soft and beautiful, nothing like the old HYDE. Now he comes out with 666, a hard and beautiful album. Much harder than the days with laruku. Most of the songs are in English, and must I say that HYDE has been practicing. His English has improved greatly. Though I generally don't like when my JArtists sing English, this album is an exception. HYDE reaches such unbelievable lengths. This album was an amazingly good surprise. It was breathtaking, to tell you the truth. It is the best JRock album out there. Do not hesitate to buy if a fan of HYDE, Gackt, or Laruku.
