Not even worth having popcorn with it! Customer Review Rated Bad 0 - 0 out of 10
I had high hopes of this film, since it was meant to be a sequel to La Brassiere! However, I was very disappointed.

The first 5 mins was interesting the sense it showed what the film was about - ok its about this girl looking to work in an underwear company and she got the job. After that, it got ridiculous bad. I don't mind comedy in places, but this film really is testing my patience. There is no storyline much, just a lot of young girls with hardly any acting skills in a film with lack of substance and plot. By the middle of the film (I thought it was the end) I had to switch it off. I felt it was a waste of money filming this film. Gigi popped on for two scenes and everyone else was like a flower pot wannabe star!

My verdict is dont even bother watching this movie if you don't know who these girls are, as you will be very bored. I call them 'girls' rather than 'actresses' because they cannot act and shows a lot of shallowness in their ability to portray the characters!

Great eye candy...sucky story Customer Review Rated Bad 2 - 2 out of 10
The title pretty much says it all. Cute and gorgeous girls in the cast but the story just never got that exciting and was lackluster throughout.

Decently accomplished rom-com Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
I can’t say I’ve seen the forerunners to this, La Brassiere and Mighty Baby, but after watching director Chan Hing-Ka and scriptwriter Janet Chun’s combination here, I’d certainly recommend this. My immediate reaction was that this was a decent movie by the high production value and quality cinematography. Plus good performances from Ronald Cheng as Stephy’s lingerie co-worker and love interest. Okay it’s a bit daft like bugs bunny, but its features good funny moments (albeit wacky ones) throughout. Secondly, if you love Stephy (whose 1 Cool gal) you shouldn’t miss this. ST is absolutely huggable in her cool red chestnut hair tint as Miu and succeeds here diligently as the most endearing character yet. She’s a mixed up romantic again trying to find a fella, but Steph’s childlike and charming personality certainly wins you over. You'll love her in this!

Plot wise, it’s familiar HK screwball comedy about young women and their love relationship woes. In fact a crazy rom com with the skimpy articles of the title as bit parts. A bit wacky/emotional, too. Like a kooky ‘carry on’ “20, 30, 40” and although concerning ‘ladies inner garments’ (should I review this?) the plot’s attention is focused on the 5 women’s various and eccentric male relationships. Like Donut (Janice M) who mails a dancing pole present for her married man, who as to bluff his wife that its only a stand for his digital camera. Stephy’s character is a lingerie researcher who interviews boutique workers and even a local ‘bra snatcher’ to fulfill her bosses (Gigi Leung) request of knowing her lingerie. But additionally Miu needs to find a man and Ronald Cheng on excellent form plays Miu’s lothario co-worker and man finder tutor Lucas, who assists Miu to get a fella. Including a sex mad book writer and a loony tunes, narcissistic company boss Antonio as possibles. So it’s tough going.

Miu’s quest is interpolated by Janice M, Kathy Yeun, and JJ Jia’s character’s relationship fun (a.k.a. Big Problems) with a married man, a young bashful police officer and a basketball playing Andy Ho!

Although having light sexual innuendo “LL” is harmless eccentric fun. Its endearing, funny, tongue in cheek, over the top and with occasional tears from some of the ladies (and some of the fellas such as Antonio). So settle back and enjoy the relationship woes, eye candy cast, madcap humor and the anticipation of a good plot - which are all deftly delivered here.

Well, at least it stars pretty girls. Customer Review Rated Bad 2 - 2 out of 10
First, what's good - DVD picture and sound are top notch, and the stars are nice to look at. Second, what's bad - good looking stars do not a good movie make. The story, what there is of one, is poorly pieced together and the characters are uninteresting. Half way through the movie I found myself pushing the fast forward button. That is not good. Mighty Baby was a poor sequel to La Brassier, and La Lingerie is a poor sequel to Mighty Baby. I have never seen any of these actors before so I can't fairly comment on their development as actors, however I was not impressed with what I saw in this movie. Maybe in a few years they will become good actors, and I hope so because the potential is there. A better script would probably been some help.
