In this sequel to comedic horror classic Lake Placid, the local Sheriff (John Schneider from TV's "The Dukes Of Hazzard") teams up with a paleontologist from New York to find the beast who has been feasting on the locals. What they quickly find out is that they aren't just up against one giant crocodile, but three!!!

Add to the mix an eccentric philanthropist with a penchant for "Croces" and an off-centre local hermit, played by Academy Award(r) winner Cloris Leachman (1972 Best Supporting Actress. The Last Picture Show), and the carnage is just about to begin. Also starring Sam McMurray (TV's "The Tracey Ullman Show") and Sarah Lafleur (Shall We Dance?), Lake Placid 2 will have you laughing and shrieking, and ultimately wondering if it will ever be safe to go back into the water again.
