Great music, Great Artwork Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
This is an instant must-have for Salyu fans because besides from containing great songs that you can listen throughout the day, it contains a fantastic flash-card-based-songbook with all the lyrics and AMAZING photos.
Those photos, and the way they were printed are what made the full package for me.

Brilliant Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
Don't listen to Fadia. Her review is entirely bias and is wrong to judge a product solely due to it's popularity. Plus, Salyu isn't well known to most English consumers because she's an new artist. The soundtrack is brilliant! How can you dislike this? The singing talent is gorgeous. Truely something very original. I won't consider her to be a pop artist but more of a alternative artist who demonstrates very abstract use of vocalization.

A great first album. Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I have always been a fan of Salyu, and find her to be one of my top favourite singers out there.
Her voice is stunning, and her music a touch of something you don't come across alot.
The songs on this album are all wonderful, and I don't think I actually have anything bad to say about them.
Worth a listen.

Don't avoid this album because of the half-star re Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
I just recently listened to Salyu's "Landmark," and it is a gorgeous album, just as good if not better than her other album (as "Lily Chou-Chou"), which was also stunningly beautiful. I don't know how anyone could listen to her voice singing these haunting and lovely melodies and hate it! This is an album that should be heard by more people. It deserves a four-star rating overall, at the very least. Give this one a chance - it's more than worth it.

obviously not for everyone Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
this cd is not for everyone. i suspect the previous reviewer does not listen to this type of music. as you may or may not know, salyu is the identity behind lily chou-chou. i think this album is really very good. i wasn't expecting that much since her singles didn't blow me away. a lot of her songs sounded the same to me. i was hoping for a bit more, but packaged together in an album it's nice. favourites are #s 6, 2, 1, 9, in that order.

anyway, what does having no reviews on her singles have anything to do with music being good? it just means no one wanted to take the time, or no one knew the artist. you know, most people really don't bother reviewing music at all. please don't stray away from buying something just because it's not reviewed.

if you would like to listen to something a little different, this is a good choice (but it isn't abstract like shiina ringo's 3rd album). if you prefer whiny or high pitched vocal this isn't for you. however, if you prefer someone who actually puts more effort into their singing then their image, with melodic voice and great electronic/rock/pop combination music, this is a great choice.
