July 20, 2010 Great collectionI am very happy to get this album as i am not a fan who religiously collect every THSK's release.
Therefore having this to my collection is such a bliss.
As we know, the collection consist of all THSK japan releases, my personal fave is actually xiah junsu's If. It is such a beautiful song. There is 3 discs in this album and i love almost all of their songs.
The packaging of the CD is simple. It has a weak paper/carton box enclosing a paper-cased CD with 3 mini photobooks. I like the photobooks though, it is such an eye candy.
The downside of this album is u might have already bought their past singles, making your collection to double. Moreover it would be great if this comes with a DVD containing all their MVs too.

July 15, 2010 Good, but..Let's start with the good part of the book.
The book is huge and it looks generous. I am happy with the box enclosing the book, making it look elegant and taken care of.
The subtitle is a huge help to all non-korean fans in the world as well.
There are so many pretty pictures of the girls, showing cute and simple side of them. They look natural and cheerful in the shots.
The cover pictures are gorgeous too!
However there are some things that made me unhappy. I feel that there are too many shots that focuses the girls' back, or whatever that do not show their faces. There are many random photos too, like dustbin, bicycle etc.
The binding of the book look pretty weak as well, i feel that pages might fall out.
The carton box framing the book looks cheap too, SM should use a firmer and more expensive material for such an expensive book.
In addition, it is weird that we have to cut out the dvd-casing and damage that plastic holder :(
Still, as a SONE i am still happy to get this book.

July 15, 2010 A good big bang collectionThe interesting part is, this book is a little bit different from what i thought it would be. It is much thicker and smaller than what i have imagined.
There are many colorful and interesting pictures inside and many pictures shows different activities that the members are doing. We can see Bb boys camping and dong rehearsals together.
The end prouct of this book is pretty weird. The cover is made of styrofoam-like material that makes the whole book itself not firm. The glue-ing together (or binding) of the book is also pretty weak, i am scared the book might fall off easily.
Nevertheless it is still a good collection for any VIPs out there.

I think Key's hair look weirder in this book rather than the NIGHT copy. Nevertheless the book is pretty enjoyable. We get to see a warm and sunny side of the boys and the scenery was great too.
The book itself is thick and large, the only problem is it might not suit your bookshelves. I got this a year ago and i diligently keep it in perfect condition.
I find the small brochure (?) or whatever that is placed on the book's cover is a bother.
I am thankful YA has delivered this in good condition to my house.

Honestly, out of the 2 photobooks i prefer NIGHT as it suits my style more. I like Key's haircut better than in the DAY version.
This version emphasizes the glamour night life while DAY looks like it has taken simple countryside life of young boys.
I like seeing the pretty pictures and the shots were unique too.
The book itself is huge and pretty thick. There are many SHINee's members close up photos too.
I got this from YA and i was happy it was wrapped with bubble wraps and placed inside a carton box so that it wont get damaged.
A pity this is out of print already, i have thought of selling it but since i like the book a lot, i keep on hesitating.

Nevertheless there are so many good songs in the album. I really like Amigo, Replay, Love's Way, Romantic, In My Room.. It really is an easy-listening CD with the usual sweet kpop sounds before the similar repetitive beat got introduced to Kpop in 2009.
The album jacket is pretty as well. The boys have safe and nice hairstyles. The clothing is casual and simple too.
I wish there were more photos, though.

July 9, 2010 Pretty Recommended!This is the album that starts many things! 'Gee' mini album is undoubtedly one of the biggest kpop hit in 2009 and having been following the girls since their early days i have to admit that this album is a turning point in their career.
After receiving the CD, i was satisfied with the album jacket as the photoshoots defines the girls as sweet, pure and slightly sexy girls. My eyes goes to Tiffany's great shoots!
I wish there were more songs in this album. The tracks might be those of sugary-saccharine kpop beats but it is still pleasant to listen to. My personal recommendation is the title song 'Gee', 'him nae' and 'dear.mom'.
Gee has an addictive beat and insteresting dance while Him Nae is a song that are meant to give strength to people. The latter is pretty much a longer version to SNSD's old CF song, Haptic motion.
Dear.mom which is written by Ivy is an interesting one too!
Listen to this album and you will find yourselves slightly drawn to this 9 SM Entertainment's pearls.

The big squarish packaging slightly distinct it from your usual kpop album collection.
What i love from this album is the generous photo-booklet. the paper quality is good, there is the glossy type and the thick-non glossy ones (i dont know what is it called)..
The photo booklet is pretty thick, quite satisfying.
Nevertheless, musically speaking, i only have one personal favorite from this singe. Which is 목숨을 건다 , which has the slowest beat among the other tracks.
There is nothing really new that 2PM has brought to the table but the songs are catchy enough and interesting.
To sum up, this is pretty much a treat to the eye but there's nothing really big that makes me go "awww....", but if you are one avid Hottest, you should really get this album and support the boys!

July 8, 2010 GREAT!if you're a fan, this album is EVERYTHING.
I find this album still SNSD's great work. Although some might think the songs are too cutesy, shallow and similar, but the purpose of the album is to have a simple, next-door images like the girl when they first debuted.
Having heard too much of KPop strong and repetitive beats, this album is an alternative if you want a nice and simple accompanion.
Baby baby is a cute (like almost all songs in the album) song that will warm your heart. Others, like merry-go-round, tinkerbell and complete are those types of song that will make you unwillingly smile throughout the song.
Kissing you remix is a pretty refreshing one too!
Give the album a chance and you will find yourselves falling in love with the 9 adorable girls.

I remembered the moment i heard genie last year, i was blown away.
The beat is unique, the dancing is cool.
The other songs are great too! My recommendations are my child and one year later. They are soothing songs and inclusion of 'children' voices in my child is pretty fun too!
Nevertheless one thing i dont like, just like any other KPOP albums, is the poor CD casing. the poor quality of the carton is not strong enough to withstand pressure or water.
But still, give this album a listen!

July 8, 2010 Pretty GoodFinally! One Kpop album i have with a firm CD case! This might sound silly to you but the DVD casing is really a big help. It makes the album look elegant (although it may not fit as compared to ur usual kpop paper-cased album) and last better.
If you are an avid fan, this is a must buy! Echo is my personal favorite track off the album as the cutesy melody gets to your brain immediately. Run Devil Run is also a must listen as it shows a different SNSD's image.
Nevertheless, i wasnt as pleased with the other tracks. It is fairly good, but nothing exceptionally wonderful. Oh! is a cute song but i didnt feel that magic vibe when i compared it to gee or genie.
Nevertheless, Star star star is an interesting ballad song but.
If you're not a fan and have not bought any of snsd's work, you should buy this album as it contains past SNSD's hits too.
The album booklet is pretty okay and everyone looked very pretty! One thing i am disappointed is, there should be a DVD containing MVs or anything to accompany this great album.
