A Collector's Item for L'Arc~en~Ciel Fans
| I just had to get this album because I'm a new die-hard fan of L'Arc~en~Ciel. Musically, I don't like this album as much as their later albums because the drums are just too prominent in most of the tracks when Sakura was the band's drummer. Don't get me wrong. He is excellent. But I just like Yukihiro whose drumming technique fits in better with the group's music, more harmonious I think. Early on in this album, their first I presume, you can just tell Hyde was already a gifted singer and Ken was so talented with his guitar playing. The pamphlet contains pictures of all the members when they were much younger. Hyde had long hair and liked like a girl, lol! Tetsu and Ken looked so nice and wonderful as well. I gave 5 stars rating to Track 4 and Cureless, and many tracks with 4 stars for the reason that the drumming was a little overboard for my taste. |

artistic and wonderful
| I'ts one of the best L'Arc~en~Ciel albums that were ever made. It's an old album but it is great. It's in japanese, but I would describe it as more of a European kind of style of music. If you like bands like U2, Public Image Ltd., New Order, or Joy Division, then I would definately recommend this album. It is not only just an album in a European fashion, it is spectacular when they crafted it themselves. It's unique in its own way. It's different than any other one than they made, so give it a try if you can. |
