Timid and unsure of herself, Michiru (Nagasawa Masami) is bullied both at work and at home, and just can't seem to find her place in the world. She moves in with her seemingly mild-mannered boyfriend Sosuke (Nishikido Ryo), but he turns frighteningly violent when jealousy rears its head. Just as it seems like she has nowhere to turn, Michiru crosses paths with her tomboyish high school buddy Ruka (Ueno Juri) who is now a motocross racer. Starting anew, Michiru becomes roommates with Ruka and Ruka's friend Takeru (Eita), a stylist who has a phobia against sex. While helping each other cope with life's problems, Michiru, Ruka, and Takeru must also eventually face the deep and ambiguous bonds that tie them together.
