Impressive

Sun Yan Zi is certainly an extremely hard-working artist, releasing this album (her 5th) so close to 'Start'. Many people expected a drop in quality due to the rushed nature of this release, but this could not be further from the truth! Sun Yan Zi does not disappoint. This album is arguably one of her best to date, with a cleverly designed ecclecticism of song choices. Yanzi's voice is in top, unique form as usual, and the diversity of styles works well, somehow fitting together rather than breaking the flow of the album. The cover and insert artwork is also stunning. Recommended songs: My personal favourite Wo Bu Ai (track 2), the funky R&B sounds of track 4, and Ai Cong Ling Kai Shi (track 6). Also don't miss the uplifting Yi Qi Zou Gao (track 12) and its English equivalent (track 11). |

This cd is a cd of Really High Standard.... Every Song in this cd got substance and Quality. This only prove 1 thing-Yan zi is the record beaker....Speed and quality @ the same time achieved~ That makes Yan zi shines above the rest...Also, this cd won the Best CD OF 2002 in China! Yea! YanZi doesn't need good reviews to help others notice her. She's got the talent, the voice, and the star quality that once you hear her voice, you wouldn't be able to forget it. So if you enjoy good music, wide varieties, and perfect singing, you shouldn't let this album pass. |

Nearly perfect

This might be the first cd that I didn't skip a single song while I was listening to it. Nowadays when the so called "singers" who keep on complaining that MP3 ruin the market, they should be the people to blame, cos their music really suck. Ask yourself, if you are not a particular fan of a singer, how many times you would listen to a full cd without pressing the skip button? I keep on asking myself why should I spend the price of a cd to buy just one or sometimes half of a song? Going back to this cd. Great music with great arrangement. The producer really did a good job on this one, and you can feel that the ending of each song matches with the beginning of the next one. Listening to this cd will prove you that you have to buy the original version, cos if you buy a fake one, you will miss a lot. The only complain I have on this cd is they should not put the English version of the Singapore 2002 song together with the Mandarin one, cos it ruins the flow of the music. Apart from that, this is a great piece of work. Last year, Halem's Tidal Wave is the best cd. This year, Leave may be better than that. |

The Best among all Singers!

Sun Yan Zi has so far realeased 5 or more ablums and they are all fantastic! I strongly recommend this ablum.I would rate it a 11/10. Hope Yan zi will release more and more ablum. Yan zi simply the outstanding and best among all singer. |

One Word - Amazing

This cd is by far one of the best cd I have ever purchased, and I am an avid cd collector. She brings a variety of music styles to Leave's tracks, from rock, to pop, to alternative, to ballads, to r&b to English. Her vocal range is just so amazing that it just blows your mind as to where it is coming from. What can Stef not sing? Her singing ability is by far superior to most of the other female artists out there in both Taiwan and Hong Kong. Don't miss out on this album |

The Gem of Singapore

Leave - another credit to the young woman. Despite critics's rantings about Stefanie's fast rate of album production, she has proved it once again that it is not the duration that matters, but quality. Her voice has definitely improved, being able to "stretch" her notes further and better, as we can see in "Wo Bu Ai". "Zhi Lai Zhi Wang" is yet another one of my fave, Stefanie has proven that women can rap too! "Dong Shi" not only has a beautiful tune, it contains equally beautiful lyrics as well. "Ai Cong Ling Kai Shi", Stefanie has definitely matured much. "Bu Dong" is another upbeat song which Stefanie does it with ease. We can see the talent and potential of Stefanie with her self-composed song "Yan Shen". It's no wonder Singapore chose her to sing "We will get there"...she's definitely the best candidate to sing it. Stefanie has no trouble singing a whole English track. The reason i gave it a 9 because i believe that Stefanie still has room for much more improvment...i'm sure her next album will be full of new surprises again. |

This cd is i can say one of thr best of sunaynzi's cd after her second cd {wo yao de xing fu) this cd reali haf teh taste and feelings of sunyanzi. every song in this cd can give us a impression of sunyanzi in our mind even though she is not standing in front of us. therefore this cd has a veri strong "imagery" impact on the listenenrs. SUn YaNZi best! |

For better music in the future

Some people shouldn't criticize her newest album. Actually she's just testing the water by singing different types of songs. Yes. this album is a stepping stone to better music in the future. It's no use sticking to a particular style as people will eventually get sick and tired of it. Don't you think her songs are still good despite exploring new music? This proves she has substance and is making good use of her talent. This should be how a singer mantain his or her popularity. Fans of her should be more supporting. |
