this movie was soooo dragging and so torturing boring!! there was not a moment, not even a second, of excitement or spark...it was dull....i can't believe i forced myself to watch this movie...hate it! take it from me people, don't waste your time watching it! i know how a good and worthwatching movie is like!

Perfect movie, perfect cast but what the ... Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
Some may complain about the slow storyline but I love every moment. Beautiful cast too. But!!! Why is the subtitles mandatory? I can't seem to switch off the subtitles, thus the chinese and english subtitles are permanently on the screen and that's a big pain :(

From a guy currently living in Shanghai - This Mov Customer Review Rated Bad 1 - 1 out of 10
Ok, I like Faye Wong and I like Leon Lai, but this is one of the slowest moving movies I have ever watched. And its cheezier than any hong kong movie.. but of course the movie, and the actors are superceded by fact that the director made Shanghai like some sort of dreamworld for one's romantic endeavors.

Ok the truth, Shanghai, while improving into a decent metropolis is still littered with smelly streets, polluted buses and trucks, and bikes all over the place.

This movie has Leon Lai driving his car and not facing any traffic issues? not honking? Thats impossible in Shanghai! And half the scenes were shot in the 2 ritziest areas on Shanghai, the financial district of Lujiazui and Xintiandi (new heaven and earth).... and the restauraants they visited, overexpensive and sucky... anyway, I could go on but thats not Shanghai you see in the movie, unless you're a multimillionaire and want to throw away your money... ok.. thats it.

Too slow but great looking cast!!! Customer Review Rated Bad 5 - 5 out of 10
Wow!!! This is the slowest movie I have ever watched. I know it was meant to be slow but it just too slow. I got bored really fast. I know that if it wasn't slow we(the viewer) won't appreiate the beatuy of things, but come on. I think they went way over borad with thing if every reviewer here said it was slow. I had to fast forward almost the whole moive to watch it but it still a good moive. Also, I liked fast fowarding the moive, becuase if your player allows it, the music is way cool fast. The slow songs might sound really good when they are played normally, but when they are played during 2x mode they sound great. Songs become like a jazzed up verison of today fast hip-hop songs. Try it and see if you like it. Anyways, back to the moive. I think the moive was well made. They did everything great. I love the cast and story. I just wish it wasn't so slow, otherwise I would watch it again. I think people that like these kinds of moives would love this one as well. :)

Love the beautiful postcards & especially the beautiful photo booklet signed by Faye & Leon.
Truly appreciated by ardent fans of Faye like myself.
A great pity that it doesn't come along with a poster and MTV featuring "The Fireworks of 2 People" & "You Wait For Me". Otherwise, it would be PERFECT !
