이번 앨범의 구성은 전반적으로 부드러움과 편안함이 녹아있는 보컬의 개성을 충분히 살려주는 감미로운 발라드가 주를 이루고 있지만, 정열적인 라틴댄스와 세련미 넘치는 하우스댄스곡도 들어있다. 타이틀곡「자꾸만」은 떠나간 연인과의 사랑했던 기억을 잊지 못하고 그리워하는 이별의 감정을 애절하게 노래하고 있어 “가을”과 너무나 잘 어울리는 발라드 곡이며 이기찬 특유의 시원하면서도 절제된 보컬은 모두가 동감할 수 있는 슬프고도 아름다운 가사와 잘 어우러지고, 듣는 이의 마음에 오랫동안 여운을 남기며, 단순히 듣는 것만으로도 저절로 가슴이 뭉클해져 오는 것을 느낄 수 있다.

Lee Ki Chan's so FRICKIN' GOOD
| I love this album. This is the first Lee Ki Chan album I've bought and I've got to say, IT ROCKS TO THE MAXX!!! I love the ballads in here so much because Lee Ki Chan's voice is so AWESOME...and powerful...and expressive...and soothing!!! I would recommend this to ANYONE!!! Trust me, you will NOT be disappointed...his voice will MELT you! I listen to his songs everyday and I don't think I'm going to get tired of it anytime soon!!! ;] |

This is a GREAT ALBUM! one of the best that I had ever heard! All of his songs are just spectacular, and his voice is almost like an angel's!~! I love all of his songs!!!!! U should get this cd! |

The Best!!!!!

Lee Ki Chan is one of the best singers I have ever listened to! I didn`t know him, but I bought a CD of him. Then, I can`t go out without listening to his songs because they are all really wonderful! There is no song I don`t like. Oh!!! I admire him sooooo much! Conglatulations to Lee Ki Chan! P.S: I bought his CD because my nickname is Liki-chan. It`s almost the same, don`t you think so? |

Lee Ki Chan's 7th Effort: Natural
|
Lee Ki Chan has come out with his 7th album, entitled Natural and is an effort to showcase both the musicality and tone of what its like to sing naturally and simply. Most songs are simple and beautiful straight ballads while a few include some variations of mid-tempo R&B, Alternative as well as Latin-infused styles. Some of the songs are remakes of those on his previous albums while others still were previously sung by other Korean performers such as Wheesung and Yuri Sangja, etc. As always, he uses his tremendously smooth and powerful vocals effectively to color each song for distinction. It is rare to find a performer so attuned emotionally to each song and to infuse the right dose of passion, angst or happiness or silliness as the lyrics dictate and have those emotions reflect the individuality of each song. Lee Ki Chan has mastered that art. One never feels that one is listening to the same song repeatedly but that each song is uniquely different. From the beginning of his song with Please, he captures the listeners interest and doesnt end until after the last song, Love Goes Around Again (in Korean, Ddo Han Bun Sa Rang Eun Ga Go) is ended. Lee Ki Chan takes the listener on an emotional and musical odyssey of love and loss through cleverly written lyrics combined with a myriad of different musical instrumentation as in Yearning (in Korean, Dong Kyung) where classical instrumentation is effective in illustrating the power of longing or yearning for true love. If I can summarize listening to this album in a nutshell, I would describe it as being in a room, aka MTV Unplugged, and listening to his performances in an acoustic setting. Of those performers who have recently released their albums, Lee Ki Chans is by far the best, both musically and lyrically. Purchasing this album is truly worthwhile. And this comes from someone who likes to save money. |
