Lee Min Woo Vol. 4.5 - Minnovation (Limited Edition)

Lee Min Woo presents more of his musical innovations in the new mini-album Minnovation. This is M's second mini-album after last year's The Sentimental Reason, but the two releases are of very different musical styles. The Shinhwa heartthrob collaborated with well-known songwriters including frequent collaborator Lee Young Jun and US-based composer Outsidaz to create four new songs for this Vol. 4.5 album. Lee Min Woo also worked on the album's beats and arrangements, making this one of his strongest and most individualistic releases yet. Other than the title number Minnovation and other new songs, this mini-album also includes the Outsidaz Club remix of Gamyeon Mudohoe ("Masquerade") from M's fourth album M Rizing and the BK remix of The "M" Style from his third album Explore M.

Limited to 18,000 copies, the Limited Edition of Minnovation comes in a deluxe jewel case with a 28-page photo booklet and unique serial number.

Minnovation comes with two different album covers. Releases with serial number 101 to 10,000 feature Version 1 album cover image, and releases with serial number 10,001 - 18,000 feature Version 2 album cover image. Customers who purchase this product will have one of the covers selected for them according to availability.

M’s 4.5 Album - “MINNOVATION"
공식 4집 앨범 이후 9개월여 만에 선보이는 앨범 “Minnovation" 은 4.5집 형식의 미니앨범이다. 공식적인 미니앨범으로는 지난 2008년 2월에 발표한 “The Sentimental Reason"이란 이름의 재즈앨범 이후 2번째가 되지만, 앨범에 수록된 음악의 느낌은 그 때와는 전혀 다른 느낌이다.
이번 앨범에서 이민우는 기존의 유명 작곡가들에게서 곡을 받아 녹음만 하기보다는 본인이 멜로디 메이킹과 편곡, 작사에 기존에 비해 보다 깊숙이 관여하여 M만의 Style을 완성하는 계기가 된 앨범이다.
지난 3집부터 매 앨범마다 줄곧 같이 해온 작곡가“이영준”씨를 비롯 미국에서 작업활동중인 작곡가 "Outsidaz" 와도 손을 잡고 4곡이라는 짧은 신곡트랙이지만 본인의 음악적 느낌을 강조한 곡들로 짜임새 있게 준비된 앨범이다. 3집과 4집의 곡도 리믹스 되어 수록되었는데 원곡에 더 많은 힘을 실어 보낸 트랙인 듯 하다.
이번 앨범은 2가지 버전의 표지로 구성된 1만8천장 한정판으로, 1만8천 번까지 넘버링이 되어 있다. 이 특별한 앨범의 패키지는 네덜란드에서 특별 주문 수입한 슈퍼쥬얼케이스로, 보통 한정 dvd에나 사용되는 dvd사이즈에 컬러풀한 두 가지 버전의 케이스로 소장가치 만점의 앨범이 될 것이다. 사진 화보도 마치 영화의 한 장면 같은 컬러풀한 화려한 사진화보가 총 28페이지로 지금까지 볼 수 없었던 M의 색다른 모습을 볼 수 있을 것이다.
