트랙리스트에는 보이존의 ‘no matter what’ 처럼 제목부터 익숙한 노래도 있고, 길버트 오셜리반의 ‘Alone again’처럼 들어보면 제목보다 멜로디가 익숙한 노래도 있다. 앨범을 들어보지 않고 트랙리스트의 선곡만 보면 원곡의 장르나 발표시기, 가수 등에서 공통점을 좀처럼 찾을 수가 없기 때문에 낯설어 보일 수도 있는 음반이지만, 모든 노래에 담겨있는 이소라의 목소리만으로도 낯섦은 곧 우리가 기억하는, 기다리던 그녀의 감성에 대한 반가움으로 변한다.
‘팝 리메이크 앨범’, ‘노래 모음’, ‘song book’… 이 앨범을 어떤 이름으로 부르던, 겨울과 함께 이소라의 음반을 맞이한다는 것은 행복한 일이다.
