August 14, 2008 What were they thinking!I saw this movie 6 months ago...I decided that I should wait awhile before I say something about this. However, my strong feelings have not subsided at all. This movie is bad. I don't symphasize with any of the characters in it and it is the worst movie that Ang Lee had ever directed. From now on, whenever I see Tony Leung, I won't be able to conceal my contempt of his chosing to be part of this porn disguised as art. REALLY BAD TASTE. Did you find this review helpful? The plot is kinda interesting but very confusing at times. The fighting scenes are just so-so. Compared to Kamen Rider The FIrst, this is a little improvement. I am sure that there will be another one soon bringing the old riders up to date.

Then I came across a sample of it on youtube. What I can say is buyer beware, check out the sample on youtube and see if you think paying over $50 for it is worth it or not. For me, I have already made my decision.

Maybe I have too high expectations for this project of Leon. Yes, the packaging is very nice and refreshiing. However, the "meat" really disappoints.
The plot of the musicial is un-imaginative and boring. It is just a combination of mtv bits and pieces, which are good standing by themselves, but a mess when stitched together the way it is done. Perhaps Leon should have given the whole project more thought. With all the talents that he has surrounded himself with, I don't believe that this is the best that he can come up with. I applauded him for the effort though!

There is only 1 song in this show, so I guess we should not call this a musical. With expectation low, I was kinda surprised the show is quite interesting. Not strictly because the actress removes her top (you don't see anything due to camera angle) on stage. The story is good. May 4, 2002 Nice to see how an international star is born....First of all, even though it is advertised as region-3-coded, I can play this on my region 1 sony DVD player. The movie itself is so-so; the picture quality is average with signs of age. The plot is your standard teenage girl stuff. The subplot about the parents is more interesting.
