May 28, 2008 More matureDongwan plunged deeper into his music and presents something more mature with this album. It grows a lot from his first installation. Now, even non-fans can enjoy this one. Although sounding more creative and out of the box with electric sound, it still has the Korean pop rock taste. Eric is still around to lend his top notch rapping in one of the songs, the duet with Jade Valerie is totally refreshing and addictive, and the front runner, Secret, is proven not disappointing as well. July 11, 2007 Very versatileDongwan shows his versatility in this album. He's good at ballad as well as rock. Instead of going all R&B like Minwoo, or all ballad like Hyesung, Dongwan chose to explore many different sides of his music & this really portrays his personality - charismatic, kind-hearted, fun & witty, with a wild rocker's heart deep inside. In a music industry that is already too westernized, Dongwan brings a breath of fresh air by painting Asian color in his music, without leaving out MC Mong, and fellow Shinhwa members, Andy and Eric's rap touches. A song written by Minwoo, a duet number with Hyesung and with Byul, plus a remake of our favourite number 'Chindam' and Japanese Exile's 'Scream' added bonus points which make this album so colorful and far from ordinary. "Kimdongwan Is..." is enjoyable and fun. It will definitely last really really long on my playlist.
