Recorded inside the Harbor House Studio in Dallas, Texas, Winter Single - The Old School brings Leeds to the international circuit. Here, Leeds collaborates with world-renowned talents in the industry such as two time Grammy winner and sound engineer Tim Kimsey, up-and-coming jazz pianist Brian Piper, jazz drummer Sean McCurley, jazz guitarist Noel Johnston, and bassist Lynn Seaton, also known as popular singer Norah Jones's mentor.

In Winter Single - The Old School, Leeds gives her own interpretation of the all-time favorite Geudewa Youngwonhee ("With You Forever") (Track 4). Also included in the album are familiar Christmas tunes such as Santa Claus Is Coming To Town (Track 1), Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas (Track 2), and Listen To My Heart, along with instrumental versions of all four aforementioned tracks.
