The comedic screen team of Kent Cheng and Billy Lau take on the bad guys in the cop action comedy Lethal Contact! The duo is partnered with a visiting cop from Borneo to find a particular informant, but when nefarious drug smugglers get involved, the visiting cop is killed and Kent and Billy must fend for themselves! 　　警員企鵝（鄭則士飾）及北極熊（樓南光飾）一向處事不思進取，同期畢業的女警姣婆英（胡慧中飾）已貴為警司，二人仍為普通CID 。亞英為了提拔二人，便派他們協助由婆羅乃來港的波羅蜜（林俊賢飾）查案。
　　波羅蜜在一次危急中拾了企鵝跌下的槍追賊，卻因假彈無效，反被歹徒殺掉，二人為之難過不堪，並以私人身份相隨亞波遺孀亞芝（朱慧珊飾）左右。原來歹徒是想在波身上取回犯罪証據，並要脅亞芝冒充波之遺孀，取回遺物，但遺物中並沒有該資料，歹徒便毆打亞芝，二人冒險用假資料贖人而陷於困境。亞英因早知亞芝身份，卻暗中調查及保護二人，並拘捕歹徒。
