Great comic performance by Anita Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
"Let's Sing Along" is a flawed but entertaining film about mousy office worker Chu Wai Tak (Anita Mui) who enters a karaoke singing contest. Chu Wai Tak is such a nebbish that no one even notices her in her crowded workplace; it's as if she is a part of the wallpaper. Goaded by an ex-boyfriend, she enters a singing contest, but is so self-conscious that she throws up when asked to sing before an audience. Nonetheless, she survives the first round of the singing contest simply because her ex-boyfriend's evil new girlfriend wants her to be further humiliated. Chu Wai Tak knows she needs help to succeed and turns to King Wong (Dayo Wong), a hopelessly irresponsible fellow office worker who touts himself as the "King of Karaoke". Can King turn Chu Wai Tak from a shy ugly duckling into a beautifully singing swan? Dayo Wong chews up the scenery with boundless energy, but little acting skill. For every scene in which he is funny, there is another in which he simply annoys. Fortunately, Anita Mui fares much better. Indeed, her depiction of the painfully shy wallflower Chu Wai Tak must rank as one of her most memorable screen performances. Chu Wai Tak's attempts to come out of her self-imposed shell are flat-out hilarious. "Let's Sing Along" is highly recommended for all fans of the late, great Mui Yim-Fong.

Okay but kind of boring. Customer Review Rated Bad 7 - 7 out of 10
I'm not a really big fan of either main characters in this story so I didn't really like it. The plot is kind of boring though I like some of the last few scenes. It's pretty funny.

Unexpected... Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I have no idea what this movie is about except something on singing as suggested by its title. Now I watched it, and really enjoy the story. Dayo Wong is extremely FUNNY - his convensation makes me laugh hard! And Anita Mui acts great too. Recommend it for a happy time^_____________^
